I love Alcazar too and my favourite songs from them are: Alcastar, Headlines, Feel you (M. Carlsson), Stay the night and definitely the best one is Physical
Alcazar is probably my favorite swedish group, their songs are epic. But I have to say that my favorite Alcazar era was the last one, when Lína joined Andreas and Þess. They never sounded better. Lina is a gem.
Oh my icons! 😍 Hey you two! Shane, I knew you loved them, but not that they changed your life! 😀❤️ The members of Alcazar have left an unforgettable mark on the Melodifestival's history. They have had many hits as a group worldwide. Love "Crying at the discotheque"! Look at the audience from the performance in New York! 😍 They are the example of a total package where every individual in the group sings well to create the harmonies. They are linked with everything related to schlager, disco, glitter and glamour, Pride week. As a group they worked very hard on their brand and image. They had disciplined routines such as regular training to be able to dance and sing a whole concert. They should definitely have won in 2005 with "Alcastar" instead of Martin Stenmarck for ex. I have soo many great memories of them. Their disco songs were party stimulants and there was always something to discuss about their outfit! 😀 Individually, Magnus is my favorite. He is not only handsome but has a warm charisma and divine voice. Also a good repertoire of own songs! They are all super nice people. I can't rank these because they are all good in their own way. Maybe something like this: - "Not a sinner nor a saint". Love the harmonies, has a hint of ABBA in tones. - "Möt mig i Gamla stan" (Magnus). Love this song, about a "love meeting" in a district of Stockholm. Nice choreography, the video reflects Stockholm beautifully. - "Stay the night". Such a bop, party!!!!! - "Alcastar". Wonderful melody, the harmonies😘 - "Blame it on the disco". Can you stand still? 😉 - "Headlines". Another good song! Shane, wonderful to hear your knowledge and fascination with these icons 🥰. And Georgi, unbelievable that you've heard so many songs 💖. Tip: In addition to their songs, their Medleys!
I love Alcazar! So many catchy tunes, its difficult to choose only one. Now that it's Christmas, I also listen a lot to Magnus Carlsson's Christmas album "En ny Jul" ( A new christmas) One of the tracks features Alcazar "Happy Happy year for us all". A real party song!
JUSTICE FOR ALCAZAR! For ESC lovers it is a capital crime not to know what Alcazar is. I discovered them in 2014 and I realized many of their songs were hits but as a child I thought they were Abba songs😅 My top 5: 1. Stay the night (the c*m inside part is everything) 2. Blame it on the disco (the huge disco ball was the coolest thing ever on mello) 3. Alcastar 4. Not a sinner nor a saint 5. Headlines Among the solo songs Good life is my winner Shane you have truly the best taste in music among Eurovision content creators🩷

Last year was my first year watching Melodienfestival, never saw it before and therefore had no idea who Alcazar is until now. I was drawn to this video because Alcazar is a Spanish word 😜 You have to change your channel-name to Shane's Eurovision education 😉
Stay the night is my favorite, especially with lyrics like "Come inside, come inside" bruh. One of the most camp songs of all time. But I guess, it's not Melodifestivalen entry though
I heard that Magnus broke up with Andreas and Alcazar because Andreas didnt tell Magnus that he had hiv. I dont know if it true but i heard thats the story.
Shane a full on superfan in his element whilst Georgi is like time to move on, next song🤣 Won’t lie i only of them from 2014 purely due to Melfest and the way people talk about the group, had zero knowledge of their history and their hits🤷♂️ I watched 2006 again not too long ago and all i’ll say is that 🇨🇭entry is a big yikes for me😂
