Come and join me for my tutorial on Alcohol Ink backgrounds for your Lavinia Stamps pictures. I create a beautiful cell-filled background on Yupo Paper then do the Alcohol Lift Ink process to transfer the print to multifarious card.
Supplies used:
Lavinia Stamps own brand of inks in: Magenta Bloom, Forever White and Golden Lustre.
Ranger - Citrus, Peach Bellini, Eggplant and Pool.
Ranger Alcohol Blending Solution, Alcohol Lift Ink (in bottle) and blending tool with felt pads.
Multifarious card by Lavinia Stamps.
*Don't forget to use alcohol inks in a well ventilated area!!!*

Thanks so much Autumn. I was inspired by Tracey Dutton's earlier Lavinia tutorials but thought it would be good to do a longer tutorial to explain the do's and don'ts a bit. I hated my first effort months back but love the medium now. Xx

I like your little peace of art very much. I know that Tracey did this technique, but I like that you share your idea of colouring. Do you also use the first print? With one work you can have two results. ❤👍

I don't tend to use the original image on yupo because I find it hard to stamp on but I have noticed that Tracy has had the idea to emboss on it using her stamps and pan pastels. I will definitely be giving that a try. X

think you went too far with the colours, it was much better before you added the Eggplant, the quality of the video wasn't good either with it constantly trying to focus, actually made me feel quite sick................end result looked quite good though

I had to calm down the pink...which is a colour that was gifted to me but is totally out of my comfort zone. Sorry about the focus on this one and thanks for persevering.
