This is beautiful Teresa .... I love doing landscapes but haven’t done one for a few years .....you have inspired me to try one in inks now ....I love the Birch trees you have in the US ... great Tutorial ...thanks for sharing your tips and talent ! xo 🎨🖌❤️❤️💙💙
How lovely! I just found you and thanks so much for this piece. Just beautiful. I call myself a “hummingbird artist” ... flitting from here to there, enjoying an art or craft intensely for awhile, then moving on. Meanwhile I’ve purchased everything possible in order to create it, and now what, you’ve gotten me into alcohol inks! My credit, not that good lol 😂. I have inktense blocks and pencils and will search diy’s using them to save $’s. Thanks for your videos. I’m drooling over your well-loved palettes 🎨😊👩🎨🤭🌺
Loved watching you create this scene......had no idea it was possible to get so much detail with alcohol inks. Thanks for sharing this with us....... .🥰🥰
Awesome landscape! And, timely, too. I just purchase some ink and paper and a compressor ... But I didn't know who to go to for lessons. Asked & Answered!
I am not an artist, but this intrigues me. Would this be a good piece to start on for my first time? Looks awfully detailed. Maybe you could recommend a diferent video for something more simple. I have been doing acrylic pouring and the beginning with the paints and mixing colors is similar. I enjoyed your video and how your picture turned out.
I have noticed that you usually do not seem to worry about the edges of the tiles being painted. If I wanted to paint the edges on my painting would that be a problem? What is the easiest way to go about painting if it is ok to do so?
Do you use a silicone brush to help stop or move the paints. I just saw kensyarts it and I tried to see what she was using and then in another post she talks about it. Just curious..Beautiful as usual
I have not used a silicone brush, I do use a couple different brands of paint brushes, They are artist's loft and Princeton are 2 of my favorite.🖌🎨 Hope this helps.🙂
Are the alcohol ink tiles or yupo paper sealed after you’ve completed the work? And if so with what product? Very interesting art. Thank you. Terri Lupo
Beautiful work Teresa! I started experimenting with alcohol inks recently . Your tutorials are a godsent. What are you painting on? A board or yupo paper?
Teresa the painting is beautiful. I am just learning about alcohol inks. Thanks for all the tips. You have such attention to detail. What kind of ink is in your ceramic mix tray? I don’t understand the rectangle part of the tray. Would you mind sharing with me. I apologize for my ignorance, but I have not seen this before. I am new to the ink world.🙀Have a great day!
Thank you so much I'm glad you enjoyed the video. The ink in the ceramic tray is all assorted Ranger inks. Check out the description for the specific colors I used in this painting.
Why did you say you prefer the ceramic palette? I tried re-watching the video but could not find the answer. I swear you said you preferred it for a reason. Thank you for the video.
I think personally I have worked with tiles a lot longer, so I am more comfortable with them. The ink is easier to control and you can easily correct mistakes, since the ink does not stain (like it does on Yupo). Hope this info helps!
I tried this. but tied over and over to get colorless you, especially the pink. I think I have to mask off the lower off so i can paint without having to rtry and remove the paint to cover it.
