I’m sitting at the parking lot across the street from the liquor store for 45 minutes watching these videos. Im on day 4 and my chest is beating so hard, just want some bourbon, I can’t sleep because I feel bugs crawling over my body, flipped my bed thinking I had bedbugs but reading your comments really helped. Im not giving in today. Stay strong people! Let’s Go!

It feels like to stop the withdrawals you have to drink but all you are doing is prolonging the withdrawal and outcome. Bro the next days of sobriety is going to be hell, I say if need be go to a hospital and detox for 3-5 days. But in Order to get back regular you gotta stop and need help doing it. That tapering off shit don’t work for us. I’m trying to help you my friend. I’ve been down this road long enough

I'm a veteran, was actually addicted to alcohol and cigarettes. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Got diagnosed with cptsd. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Respect mother nature and the only great magic shrooms.

Hey mates! Can you help with the source? I suffer severe anxiety, panic and depression and I usually take prescription medicine, but they don't always help. Where can I find those psilocybin mushrooms? I'm really interested in treating my mental health without Rxs. I live in Australia don't know much about these. I'm so glad they helped you. I can't wait to get them too. Really need a reliable source 🙏

wish they were readily available in my place. Microdosing was my next plan of care for my husband. He is 59 & has so many mental health issues plus probable CTE & a TBI that left him in a coma 8 days. It's too late now I had to get a TPO as he's 6'6 300+ pound homicidal maniac. He's constantly talking about killing someone. He's violent. Anyone reading this Familiar w/ BPD know if it is common for an obsession with violence.

I quit drinking on a Friday afternoon, Sunday night I came to in the hospital after the doctors brought me back into my right mind. The doctor told me I had two choices I could make, I could go home and die or check myself into detox for 28 days. Best 28 days of my new life even though most of it was miserable. Now 20 yrs sober and just the thought of alcohol makes me sick.

Absolutely agree. I though for 3 days straight that people were shooting machine guns nonstop at me when I was hospitalised... I called an ambulance at myself because I thought I was going to die.. I was still drinking at the time. When I got into ICU - Intense Care Unit they made me sober up while watching me nonstop. My heart stopped working after 2 days when I got a sudden arrhytmia due to withdrawals - they saved me with electro shock into my chest. I woke up later desoriented and even after that the hallucinations and withdrawals started...... I was shaking like a mad man, I couldnt eat because I was dropping everything... thinking every second that Im trapped in prison and everyone is there to end my life. I couldnt eat, I had problems breathing. Things got better after 7 days when I stabilised. - IF I didnt call an ambulance for myself in time because feeling unwell..... I would get arrhytmia (your heart stoppes providing oxygen to your body and you die) and I would just die. It was so close. - Today I live with an ICD - A machine that detects arrhytmias in your heart and checks your heartbeat etc.. its a device in your chest and Im only 26 yo. They usually only give these only to old people over 60yo who had heart attack or very high blood pressure etc. to protect them from heart failure... - Im very young but I experienced this extreme example where you can die from heavy alcohol addiction and sudden stopping of drinking. Im glad Im alive and I hope nobody else gets into such situation.. - If you drink more than bottle of vodka everyday for like 2 years straight without stop... you develop changes in your brain and sudden stops of drinking might kill you thats why they took me into emergency unit for permanent unit and if they didnt.. and sent me home - I would just die from my heart stopping (arrythmia - heart beats 300beats/minute and cannot provide oxygen, then you die)... If anyone is watching and think they have no problem...... its closer than you think.. Until I stopped everyday drinking i had no idea what kind of danged i was in. I HAD ABSOLUTE DELIRIUM TREMENS. I was completely desoriented for a week, I was shaking, sweating balls every 2 hours they had to change my bed in hospital, I couldnt sit up or stand up, I was so weak that i was falling back on the bed and couldnt lift up my arms or control my hands movement almost....., I pissed into a bag, I had diapers for 5 days cause I couldnt walk to bathroom (reminder: im a healthy 26yo). I fel t like everyone is going to kill me or hurt me. I felt physical pain on all over my body while scratching all the surfaces of my skin.. I would never wish this onto anyone. Truly an experience but gladly I forgot most of this after I got better and started focusing on myself. Alcohol is more dangerous than I originally though as i had no symptoms before stopping... I worked regular job then drank a bottle every day after shift for 2 years straight..... never had any problems. just got used to it... then I stayed at home for 14 days cause I had fever and I was sick.. started drinking 24/7 and things got bad. Thats why I was hospitalised and when I didnt have alcohol.. I almost died from withdrawals and heart issues - arrhytmia. My advice... never drink more than 250ml of hard booze a day and dont forget to eat food (not eating greatly increases your risk of heart problems and seizures). OF course in ideal world dont drink at all or have 1-2 beers a day........ You never know how close you are to facing a fatal situation like me. I couldve been dead if I didnt collapse from heart failure at an emergency unit but at home - there would be no one to call an ambulance and I would just drop dead. God bless everyone. If this message scares somebody from drinking then Im thankful. If it helps somebody from overdrinking or helps then understand the matter and risks better then Im also grateful.. Overall - avoid it completely if you can, if you cant then control the amount you consume. IF you cant do either then seek professional help as you could be in a deadly situation if youre not careful. There is always help or improvement. It will take years to get you out of the addiction but trust me... when I almost died it motivated me and I hope this message does motivate you. God bless.

I also experienced it. It was unbelievably horrifying. The most intense fear I ever felt. My heart was pounding so fast I thought it would pound it's way out of my chest. Alcohol withdrawal is the worst thing I ever experienced. I don't think I had any seizures but the other symptoms were absolute fear and freaking out. I started to freak out around day 4. I ended up in the ER. I experienced time skips and I was getting confused. I finally told my dad he needed to take me to the ER. I went there and they gave me benzos and said I can probably get over it at home. The doc also wanted to talk to my dad and make sure he would check up on me.

I was 25 days sober in February and the withdrawals were terrifying but got through it. decided for one beer earlier this month. Update I couldn’t get through the 2 days of withdrawals and kept drinking to stop the shakes and to feel “normal”. But I would only sleep for 2 hours max a day while still drinking 1L bottle of wine and half bottle of Bacardi. Final straw was when I vomited anything I drank and felt like I was gonna have a seizure. A friend took me to the ER and they gave me the fluids needed and prescribed Librium. I’m 8 days alcohol free now, tapering off the pills, and I can finally sleep with no nightmares. I want nothing to do with alcohol ever again, it truly ruins your life. My new addiction is sparkling water, I trick my brain to think it’s beer. If you’re in too deep please get help, it’s almost impossible to get through withdrawals alone if you’re a heavy daily drinker

@@bree5413 I guess the severity of alcohol withdrawal symptoms depends on how much on a regular basis that you've been drinking and for how long. If you've only drank beer or wine during a certain time each day, then the symptoms may be mild and you could quit on your own, however if you've been drinking hard liquor almost non stop, then you may need to get to a detox center. Apparantly, it seems like if you stay drunk almost all the time, then your brain adjusts its chemical balance with your nervous system to make you feel "normal". However when the drinking stops, then your nervous system is over active.

My story: I was a binge drinker for 50 years. How did I stop drinking so easily? I skipped the counseling and anonymous platitudes. I went to my doctor. He gave me a choice of two remedies. The monthly injection of Vivitrol or the daily 50mg tablet of naltrexone. I took the tablets for 30 days to detox and almost immediately lost the cravings for beer. Losing the cravings was as easy as taking Motrin for muscle aches. Mark me safe from alcohol

You never know how close you are to facing a fatal situation like me. there was a time in history where there was a prohibition. i think if someone is an alcoholic it should say so on their ID. and every time someone buys alcohol it should be required to show id. alcoholics will be refused if trying to buy liquor. thats at least a start. something needs to be done, way too many alcoholics suffer daily and the government hasnt done anything at all to attempt to fix the issue.

The dentist said he would try putting me on atibiotics for 10 days to see if the lower gums can be saved otherwise the four teeth need to go. At that moment i realized that I could either care a litle more about myself. Or let my teeth go. I went for caring about myself. On antibiotics and no alcohol. Have massive migraines and clocking in everyday to work. Reminder, be good to him. Plenty of people have hurt him. Don’t let him loose his teeth. Love that little boy in the mirror.

I drink whiskey and I always stop even for weeks. Because I know if I don't stop my brain, it will tell me what I need and not what I actually need (that is sober the f up and stop drinking, go exercise, etc...) I'm not a addict but the feeling does come to mind but I always tell myself that I'm in control, not what my brain tells me what I "need". For those who can't quit just know your body will heal itself (only for those who haven't gone too far down the rabbit hole.) Drink in safe amounts or don't drink at all.

I stopped before knowing the dangers....twice....went through hell all the way to DTs The most terrifying experiences of my life and what I experience wasn't actual real! Later I was told for each of the 2 experiences I had a 25% chance of death.... Then I got a detox and my last ever drink was 29/12/2010 (UK) Post detox I was taught the neuroscience of rewiring my brain to become self reliant alcohol free

I was fuqin driving from San Francisco to Reno and back towards Sacramento in Major and DTs. The most terrifying experience ever. Eventually started walking in traffic against traffic because I was the death of the human race because Obama was actually an organic supercomputer that I was telepathically connected to but because of my alcoholism and toxins from a stage 3 liver failure, I killed humanity and was doomed to walk due south until I died. Police were called and they thought I was tweaking on meth and going through psychosis due to that. Wound up in Kaiser Permanente ICU for 15 days only remember 3 of them. They couldn't get rid of my low grade fever because initially they misdiagnosed me even though I told them I was an alcoholic who had abruptly stopped drinking to return to a job I had taken a hiatus from after my wife's death from alcoholic hepatitis. It took 7 years, finally ICU 7 times in 3 months for me to eventually get help and I've been clean and sober for two years now from everything except for cigarettes. How I don't have wet brain is seriously beyond me.

Heavy drinker since 2018 july. It got worst since covid. DT Hallucinations felt much real than reality itself. Thousands of voices, vibrating doors, faces in walls and many more. I dont want to go to details but yah it's worst real hell and I wouldn't want anyone to go through that journey. I've drastically cut down drinking since this year. Only beer once a month and planning to completely cut off. I know my own relatives and family are still battling alcoholism and i tell them as well. If it can happen to me then they're no different. Alcohol is the worst of all. It deteriorates both physical and mind. It's only matter of time when moderate drinker becomes an alcoholic. And that's when they are blind they go Mayhem, they don't literally see relationships and friendship being broken, family and house being destroyed until they quit alcohol. My prayers are for those who are battling 🙏 stay strong

That was my mindset that people should be able to live without paying for the mistakes of others. I was outside drinking a beer with friends and family that summer night. Then my phone rang and I never pickup my phone unless you call me back to back.. for some reason I felt like my whole world was changing , I picked it up and learned that my sister had been killed by a drunk driver who was going 115 on a back country road at night.
