Today, we have an evidentiary hearing in the divorce of a couple where Dad’s drinking has
caused him to hit rock bottom including losing his job of 18 years and crashing the family’s only
car in a DUI.
He also lashes out at the children when he drinks and they have given their Mother an
ultimatum. She needs to choose - him or them.
She chose her children.
Dad says he’s doing everything he can to get his life together and that his real problem isn’t the
alcohol but his bad mental health. He blames everyone else for why he’s hasn’t been doing what
the court ordered and tells the judge that his ex-wife isn’t the perfect person everyone is
pretending she is, in fact he claims she committed welfare fraud to get food stamps she wasn’t
entitled to.
Let’s see what the judge will think of this...
