He just proved in this zoom meeting that he doesnt care for his kid. He'd rather sit in jail than pay child support, have it affect hos credit, license, future, etc. Which means seeing his child isnt his priority. His child isnt his priority. He cares about being in control over her, and thats it. These types of things follow you everywhere. He also just admited that he'll gladly break the law cuz he doesnt agree with court. A child shouldnt be around somebody like that. He also only mentioned filijg for full custody just because he didnt like what the cost would be in child support. Not because he cares for or wants the kid. Mom should use this video against him in further court hearings as we're bound to see more of him in the forseeable future. Somebody like that doesn't deserve to have a kid.
Ms. Erickson is gaslighting the court. The constant "I'm so confused," "that's so odd," "I'm gonna be honest," "I don't understand anything," "blah, blah, blah, blah, blah," was maddening to listen to. She says she doesn't understand anything, but brings up "abusive litigation" 🧐. She's a liar from Liarsville. She's VERY manipulative and her little girl, being as bright and lovely as she is, is going to end up on the receiving end once she's old enough to see through it. Maybe she's still exhibiting addict behavior (whether clean or not, old habits die hard), or maybe she has a personality disorder, who knows; but I really hope dad steps up as we all hope he will.
He's the only Justice by far who's actual 'poker face' I have yet to be able to read. How on earth he could sit there listening to all these unhinged, unstable, ignorant, entitled, rotten garbage human beings is beyond me and all reasoning. I can't fathom that it appears to me the Family Court is certainly the most egregious court by far than any criminally justices. It is absolute madness it's like these 'parats'(rats) forget about the actual child in all these instances because of their dislike and malice for one another trumps all. It's ridiculous I've never seen anything like it before.
if mom is on social security disability she's been getting THE MOST POSSIBLE as if she worked into her 70's [or whatever her year of birth requires]. if they were married at least 10 yrs she can collect on her ex's record of income. a fixed income isnt always a poor income. mom sounds like a professional victim.
the policy holder is not necessarily the guarantor. they are listed separately on medical forms. both dad and the judge are mistaken. since the original court orders specified the medical payments until age 18, dad is off the hook. actually since he's paying for the insurance and doesnt have to, mom should pay a higher percentage of the medical bills.

Doesn't matter if it's several hearings like this or just one 15 minute hearing....the whole comment section has that persons personality and habits all figured out. It's the knee jerk judgemental people we've become.
i would like to point out that hospitals who receive federal funding [virtually all hospitals] are required to give away care to the poor. at age 18 the daughter is likely to get a good part of that bill forgiven if she applies to the hospital. THAT is good sense. and if 18 is the legal age of adult, and dad's court orders end at age 18, well he's right.
I think she's a liar and I she does herself no favors...why do people need all this therapy? I just find it so lame. You're in therapy (which obviously isn't working) for what...why can't women these days manage a life like millions and billions of other people, from caveman days on, it is pathetic. Unless you were chained in a basement for 10 years or some absolute craziness like that and you are in therapy then you're just sad
Thank you for bringing the court room to our homes.. Most people don't know how any of this stuff works and they don't bother learning about any of it until they are faced with a negative life changing situation that is already stressful enough.
Finally an update. I've seen this twice. It's so old, unfortunately she got rid of Keith Lawrence who is the most biased ad litem there is and he would have totally fell for her and he would have had him completely lose custody.
