Despite what some people say, I like your chat as you drive along, makes the vid more interesting with your thoughts on the views, the traffic, other drivers etc. Keep it up and keep on truckin'. 😁
Thanks for posting, on our first trip to Spain in 1996 we parked our camper in Figueres to go to the Dali Museum. On our return we found a traffic warden guarding our van, and he told us never leave it out of sight between the French border and at least Tarragona. Lovely man, and we were lucky and green as grass.
I can only agree with the traffic warden. I delivered big heavy lead plates to a new science laboratory a few years ago, the head scientist was a lady from Sweden who was married to a Catalan man. She advised me the same, saying they had a pickpocket for every language spoken and I was to never drop my guard.
As a new subscriber and driver for many years, sadly retired, you're a breath of fresh air, your experience is invaluable to other truckers,a great driver and a superb ambassador to the trucking profession, keep up the brilliant vlogs and commentary ,cheers,pc49
It is a credit to you ,the way you handle everything ,never see or hear you under pressure or stressed out .i think your videos are great advice ect for any young person looking to do european work .👏👏👏
Hi sherrylin, Keep up the commentary , you have a very good , clear , explanatory way of letting us know what where and how. Been a continental trucker years ago, as you said if you don't like it turn the volume down 😊. As they say " watch ,look, and LISTEN " you never know you might learn something. MARK uk 😊😊👍👍👍
Great & informative vlog. Thanks for sharing it with us. Having had all my money & documents stolen from a hotel room safe in Spain years ago, I photocopied my passport & all my cards & kept two separate copies elsewhere in my luggage. Who remembers passport/card numbers?
Thanks for watching. When my son way young we went on a lot of adventures, I would always put a £5 in his shoe, just in case! 😁 Better to be safe than sorry.
I think your chats and comments are great, please keep narrating your videos👍. Some of the places you drove to on this video bought back nice memories for me as, when my work allowed, I used to travel with my late husband in his artic. Safe and happy travels. Gail Czech Republic ❤️
Great video thanks and keep chatting as you go along thanks . Looking at your video the roads look as if they have less pot holes than the UK except the Barcelona freat /port part.
Stay safe n healthy and thanks for your work Sherralin. Love your background talk, you point out a lot of interesting places as well as your opinion which is very interesting. The Ole Fella from Downunda.💝
Another great vlog, in a way it's good that you are highlighting where to park securely. The newcomers will have some idea where to go, but it's a shame that the world we live in now isn't safe just to pull up anywhere. Keep the faith, stay safe.
My uncle was an apprentice wheelwright before joining the Royal Navy during the 2nd World War. Part of his training was to dress the mill stones at Sturminster Mill and others in the district. Very interesting video; keep it up.
Thank you. I did some trailer towing train a couple of years ago, I stopped when the government changed the rules. Tbh I’m not a people person so I didn’t really enjoy it. 😊
I totally relate to your thoughts. Thankfully nowadays YT dvrs, like yourself give a guiding hand to newbies. So in a cackhanded way you are instr! LOL! @@GBtrucklady
I used to clear customs at La Jonquera when l was on chemical tankers or at Barcelona. When we had hazardous on you could not clear down in the village, so they cleared us at the top on the motorway which only took about 20 minutes, but down in La Jonquera it took about 5 hours. Spent many weekends there. This was about 30 years ago. But lovely to watch you down there.
Thanks for your input. It’s been very updated in the last few years. There are a few more secure parking areas now. It’s still not one of my favourite places though. 😁🤷🏼♀️
I see on one off your videos you like to save money going up a national road which will take you longer your company will factor all that in why would you want to take longer Great video vast knowledge of Spain you have ❤
I got weekended many times in The Junkyard. There was a hotel that had a charcoal BBQ with the most delicious churasco de tenero. I often stayed in the hotel rooms at the BP. It was affordable and the security issues weren't what they appear to be now. There is a swimming pool there too but, it's a bit of walk from the lorry parks. Your travels are bringing back many memories. I know so many of the places you go. Drive steady.
One of the best channels on yt. Sin for the translator who sometimes doesn't recognize all the words you say. Congratulations and " buona strada" Sherrylinn!!
Love your chat been driving class one for 37yrs adr and tanks thinking off going part time in 4 yrs moving to Cornwall how hard is fridgework and doing euro work never done it love the vids love a start to finish vid on a trip in parts thanks nick

Like your vlogs a big lot, never miss one, maybe sometimes bit more showing yourself when you are talking. Never mind, follower from the Netherlands...
Hi yes you can get robbed anywhere In Spain it happened to me and my boy in salou a trip to the beach they used a pair of scissors to jam in the lock of the magnum luckily they Only took our bags with all clothing the police were very good as it was reported my home insurance covered me for everything done Spain for many years keep the videos coming regards BobHumphries
Hello Sherralin, Is it possible to reduce the zoom of the camera one notch? It's weird when you turn in certain places, it feels like you're in front of the wall. Thank you for the videos, hoping you have fun with the Volvo.
I’ve always fitted roof pods to mine when I was an owner driver but these are a million times better, they can be a bit harsh on the battery, you do have to keep an eye on them.
Bryan S: 'Talk too much'? Total nonsense! Where else would you learn all about stuff? ...And don't forget, hold on to your teeth!😂...Rock on Sherralin...Ta Muchly...🅱️.😮
Talk more. Explain everything you can. Nothing worse than videos with views and music and no explanation about what the driver is doing or trying to do.
@@GBtrucklady Exactly! I am not in the industry, nor do I drive anymore. Route/road numbers would be a great addition for me, as in I'm now on the x00 (whatever) to yyyy (wherever). At least the road number, when available. Great channel. Drive safely. 👍🏻
