You've definitely reviewed the oakhurst piri piri Gaz. You reviewed it just before you reviewed the butter chicken one. This looks identical just in a jazzy new box and now called roosters not oakhurst 👍
I might not be the most internetting guy in the world . But , since subscribing . I watch all your videos , don't always comment . When i do , i appreciate the recognition it gets . Even if it is mostly from BFG . As an olde fart from across the pond 🇨🇦 , this hits my anglophile itch just right .
Love watching your videos pal, I live abroad and your videos remind me of the taste of home. Congratulations on 3 great years and here’s to many more 👍
Garlic and coriander bread: I would lightly spray the surface with Frylight spray oil or similar before baking. £5.79 is not bad for two people. It's encouraging that Aldi has not increased the price in six months.
Great review Gareth, have to say that looks great. Personally I would chuck some shredded cabbage and tomatoes with the onion. Gareth I tried new ASDA Tender 2 Hot Honey Bacon Loin the other day so would recommend you try that
Seriously getting one for me & my mum to share on Friday night, with a bit of wee salad. I had the butter chicken one two months ago, that was absolutely delicious 😋. Thanks fella for this xx 🩷
Another top review! Me & my partner really like the piri piri Aldi king kebab. It is spicier, but there's loads of flavour. We tried the butter chicken one after but it didn't come close to this version. Personally think they're great value for money; £5.79 sounds a lot, but it's takeaway quality & there's plenty there. We have them with Aldi's skin on fries as well, which are ridiculously delicious when deep fried.
thanks for that review. Will be having one of those this weekend. if you ever get to the Algarve you should try peri peri from the source, excellent! Great vid as usual.
That looks surprisingly good. Only just found your channel and it's nice to see just a normal guy eating food we can all get. Greetings from down the Pennines in Greater Manchester
I buy those naan breads, and they always seem to be broken. I cook them in a hot pan, with some garlic infused olive oil, flipping over, back and forth. They come out lovely and crispy, and soft. Like the indian take away. I must give the kebab a try from my local Aldi. Looks delicious. 😀
If it did not come up to scratch. Your lass, would be, f'in and jeff'in. before you had the first bite. Also love the new words, GRAMAGE. Like being at school all over again. Keep the entertainment coming. BRILLIANT. 😀
The naan. Cook as is, then add small bobs of butter. Pop back in the oven for the extra 1 min. Also use a little garlic powder for more of a kick. No need to use another pan, melting butter and then chopping garlic. 😊
Great channel this only started watching before Christmas but me and my missus have tried a lot of your recommendations just want to see if you had tried the co-op roast chicken pie it's supposed to be for four but it's just the right size for me and the missus give it a try if you see it, it will be in the fridge bit
I'm with you on this one. I can remember when Piri Piri first came out and there was a restaurant that was all about it. I can't remember the name though, as it was back in 2005 or so. Their half Piri Piri chicken was really nice. I've tried Piri Piri chicken, ribs and belly pork. None of them do anything for me. I love hot spicy kebabs, sometimes I like to have a kebab with a lemon sauce. I tend to buy some chicken thighs, cook them off and make my own kebabs with my own hot sauce and salad. As I said, Piri Piri doesn't do it for me. I've had had it in Portugal and it is totally different to what you get in the UK. So to be honest ? It tastes nothing like I expected.
I’m spot on cheers Gaz hope you are aswell! I tell you what is good the salmon and cheese and dill wellington from Lidl I know it’s a trip for you but it’s superb!
Oh Man! That looks bloody good, that has tantalised and tittilated my taste buds I will definitely be looking out for that and thanks for the heads up on it. And, as previously commented on one of your vids, if you say it's good that will do for me. 😁👍
Nice one Gareth, not a bad price for the weight,I prefer leg and thigh as there is more flavour than Chicken breast,I will look out for this one, cheers 👍
Maybe if you had warmed the Nan bread 1st it might have helped bring out the flavours? Also have you tried the Honey and mustard sausages from Aldi? (Nice)
I must admit I don’t like Peri Peri at 😖😖.Just lately we are inundated with the sauce, especially as it is barbecue time.. Love your channel, Congratulations on 3 years. Take care x
Suitable for vegetarians, and they get filled with loads of meat.....lol. Congrats on 3 years for the channel, hope you reach 100k subs very soon. I have to say, I may be new to your channel, but I've enjoyed every review I've watched. Keep up the good work!! :)
Did you know that you can buy a home rotisserie? I have just ordered one for around £70, im going to try chicken, duck and if i have the courage a Donner kebab. I would love to see you review one.
Not for me I'm afraid, but I'm glad you enjoyed it, If I was having something like that though I would defo have to add tomatoes to it. Cheers for the review.
those naan breads are amazing value being that the main supermarkets only sell small ones for twice the price and you can freeze the aldi ones , the only downside is that they are often ripped or when you roll them up to make a kebab they often rip so you need 4 hands , a bib , a trough , and a hose down later lol.
I always look at your eyes when you taste. There's normally a couple of second lag from taste to eye reaction. Then I know if it's a gooden or not. You are a legend mate. Love it.
@@scottneil1187 The bits I have seen suggest the same, started making my own burgers but a packet of the old ones was handy in the freezer if I want one on the spur of the moment, got 8 left but once they gone, won't be buying these new pea protein ones, it'll be ones with bugs in before the decades out IMO ☹️
Hey, great review as always, will your wife ever come on the channel with you or doesn't she like to be filmed ? Would be nice to see a video with you both doing a review :) Can i ask what those red things stuffed with cheese were please? Thanks very much
Can't wait to try this..have tried lots of things based on your reviews..all superb..I'm a 70year old boy who loves your vlogs..and lives..so do my family..your banter and sense of humour is hilarious..Good work mate..
Well done Gareth for another great review.. and again thanking us supporters which you really don’t need to do because we already know how much you respect us with your replies back.. you are such a great example of how to do a media channel who respects the people.. just keep safe and healthy and keep it going.. remember what I keep saying.. you aren’t alone my friend 👍 Tony the carer in fakenham Norfolk 👍👍
I love hot kebabs, sometimes I will go for a mild lemon flavour. But Piri Piri isn't my first choice. In fact it's not my last choice either. Every Piri Piri flavoured meat, from ribs, kebabs or chicken wings difers in heat and flavour. So ? nake your own. Cook off some chicken thighs, add your own sauce according to your own heat tolerance, ( I use Californian Reaper ), along with your own salad and you are rocking. Why waste money on something that doesn't hit the mark ? Make your own and get exactly what you want
You made that look amazing. For the price its an absolute bargain. Also , Riya Naan breads do tend to be somewhat crumbly. Hence why yours broke on you even before it came out the packet. As akways a fabulous review you have here, it looked mouth watering. Cheers Gareth. 👍 .
Afternoon Gareth, we'll that filled the bill. To be honest the longer cooking time made a nice change. Like the old days, not a flash - bang-wallop, but. A bit of a pause, time to to savour the aroma of proper cooking 😋😀Worth the wait, looked,Fabulous,Fantastic. Would have liked to get your good lady's thoughts on the matter, but you seemed happy& well pleased. Always pleased to see you find a good'un☺️Cheers mate, Allan&Family
Where were the garlic and coriander naan breads from? I might bob and buy this for tea, my hobs just decided to blow on me earlier, thankfully it wasn't a gas problem like I thought as we still have hot water (Thankfully) xXx
That looks very very like the lidl kebab (which is very tasty) ....i think (i could be wrong) you reviewed the lidl 1 but maybe it was someone else...not sure who as I don't follow anyone else who reviews supermarket foods. 🤐 Never 4 portions in it but i wouldn't expect 4 portions out of a kebab that cost £5-6
You are the best on youtube you always come up with the goods I will always watch you mate if you're channel continues which I think its only going to Excell a true bloke no falseness you are the bees knees geez
