I always do my food shop in Aldi for me and my husband as I find it's the cheapest place to go. I write a meal plan out on a Friday as I go food shopping on a Saturday morning. I find Tik Tok is great for finding meal ideas. Also, when you get Hello Fresh keep the meal cards as I have kept all of mine from when I used Hello Fresh in the past and I've put them in a folder as they are really handy to recreate the meals!xx
Also a mum of 3. I always write list and meal plan. I then have a magnetic meal plan list on Fridge. Keep hello fresh recipes as some As so easy to recreate. (Some aren’t as easy to locate) I do find I quite often cook 2 dinners as kids won’t eat certain food we do. I also buy the huge trays of chicken and separate into containers in freezer as cheaper also, and less plastic. I also shop in aldi. I think you did amazing I spend about 140-160 a week
I’m always really nosy and love watching videos like this! 😂I don’t think you did to badly with your £70odd but how much is your hello fresh box on top? We have a Lidl that’s not long opened near us and they’re building an Aldi in town too, so it will be interesting to see what different things they have and if I can get a whole weekly shop there, and how they compare to Tesco where I shop normally. Xxx
I did a Lidl shop only a few things - 2 bags and it was £50 so I don’t rate it 😂 my Aldi food shop has been better even with meals from there in the last few weeks! I’ll have to film another one soon for an update! 👍🏼🤩
That’s a great price Carly as I spend a small fortune on food shopping for myself and son. I will definitely go back to Aldi as haven’t been in a while. Xx
