If your pool is too cold look at something like this which is similar to my heat pump amzn.to/3o0PTfD . Costs more initially but loads cheaper in the long run than a element heater. Our heat pump kept the water at 28C easily. Heat pumps take time to get the water temperature up, but are more economical to run longer term.👍
I tell people the worst part was going in with the little water and trying to smooth out the wrinkles. I learned after setting these up a few times, it's easier to bend over and pull the liner out from the outside of the pool, to pull out the wrinkles. You do it before putting in any water. With 2 people on opposite sides, it takes no more than a few minutes.
WE love our pool thank you VERY much, it rocks. we just can't work out how to empty it, the inner plug doesn't come off, or at least doesn't seem to come off. would you PLEASE help us?
I have the same pool (lost the instruction manual) do you just pull the plug from the inside of the pool after attaching a hose on the outside to drain?.. or will I need a specific drain attachment?
A standard 3kw heater is about £170, but you will use loads more elec heating the pool. Air source heat pumps although more expensive save you on electric. Heat pumps around 5kw rating start at about £700. Mine uses 800w and chucks out 5kw in heat.
The pump died on me after a month and I want to upgrade to a sand filter pump but I can't find one that connects to the 1.5" hose hole in the pool. Can you help?
I had to use reducer fittings available from aquatic centres, ebay or amazon. I also purchased different size hose. The reducers worked a treat though.
Is it ok to set it up directly on the grass?I saw some RU-vidrs get rid of grass and set it up on dirt. My backyard is all grass, please let me know if your pool works well on grass. Thank you so much!
As long as it's level, remove any stones and use the groundsheet it's fine on grass. Level is the main thing unless yoy want a shallow end😎 It will completely kill the grass so when you take it down i the autumn you will have a stinking patch of dead grass👍
I bought one 6 day ago and I have a guest toon will the cover the pool comes with fit beacuse of the heat we're not bothered about heating the pool up ?
Covering the pool helps with stopping evaporation and heat loss. It will also stop mosquitto lavae in the pool water. The cover that comes with the pool is a tight fit and i bought some cord to tie over it so it didnt blow off.👍
@@fiveminuteman Hi 5 Minute Man - this is a great video - thank you. Now subscribed. Can I ask why you chose to sell it? We are thinking of getting one but just wondered why you made that decision? Have you got something better? And if so what? Thank you
@@dawnstarkey9967 we only had it for the one season and although great fun was quite a bit of maintenqnce plus we live in the countryside so even with a cover we would get mosquitto lavae in the bottom of the pool. Unfortunately the heat pump we bought was damaged, although it worked great we eventually returned it. The pool needs to be taken down in the autumn and that is quite a faff. The actual pool liner will need scrubbing before storage and make sure its bone dry or you get stains on the inside of the pool liner. We had some great times and dont regret it.
@@fiveminuteman Thank you. I understand. These sorts of things are the sorts of things that have put us off previously - we also live in the countryside so would get similar issues x
@@dawnstarkey9967 If your not using a heat pump it will be too cold to use and also once unpacked you can't get everything back in the hox end of season. It took quite a bit of space up even in a double garage.
Hi. I’ve already built a solid 14x14 deck with cemented 6x4s and other stability, it’s supported my 12’x30” pool for years for the family, I would like to up the size a tiny bit to 14x42. Seeing it’s a 14’ deck, I didn’t know if the 14’ pool (including the bars and feet of the pool hang out any wider that 14’. So basically if the 14’ pool any wider that true 14’? Thanks
This product is garbage used it for two months, and the pump stopped working. It is supposed to be a weatherproof gfi timer, yet when I had it looked at by an electrician ,he opened it up and the electrical contacts were all rusted..... hmm idk what their idea of weatherproof is? Horrible quality and even worse customer service.the
