R Sullivan yes, that back and across trigger was one of the most reassuring sights in English cricket throughout the 90s. It did get him in trouble being stuck on the back foot and trapped LBW but he had fantastic timing and was one of my favourite players to watch. Should have been the opener throughout his career rather than being shunted around. His batting against the West Indies quicks was brilliant. Less assured against spinners particularly at the start of his innings. Deserved to average higher than 39.
Brilliant free scoring batsmen at the top of the order. Brilliant keeper to. Perhaps a bit wasted when shunted down the order. His opener average was 46. Facing the best in the business.
