NOTE: @ 5:53, it should be noted that there are Four Major Papal Basilicas of Rome. St. Peter's Basilica is in Vatican City. The etymology of "basilica" of course is "basileus" (meaning "king"), which is the same etymology of the basilisk serpent from mythology, who causes death when looking into its eyes. ^_^

abuzuhm: It isn't accurate to say that the word alchemy comes from the Egyptian Kem
MrCJCala: As far as I understand, it comes from the Arabian "al-kimia." However, the root "kimia" comes the Coptic "khem," which alludes to the Black Lands (i.e., the Nile valley).
brucedobson5285: It's not but you'll notice with these people one of their favorite tools is bogus etymology to create false continuities.
MrCJCala: Seems E. A. Wallis Budge and Lewis Spence were wrong then? The Occult Science in Atlantis by Lewis Spence (on page 79) references Budge's work, Egyptian Magic, making the connection between the Arabic word "al Khemeia" and the Egyptian word "Kemi," which, again, was in reference to the black or dark lands.
abuzuhm: Thanks for writing back, appreciate the effort that goes into your content. I think this is Wallis Budge's theory that alchemy comes from the Egyptian Khem. This fails, for me at least, when we look at the surviving early Islamic alchemical texts. The term al-kemia isn't seen in the titles. Additionally, when we look at the earliest surviving Arabic alchemical works, these aren't from Egypt. They're from Iraq and points further East.
MrCJCala: Appreciate the comment and glad you enjoy the content. And yes, the idea stems from my reading of Lewis Spence (who cites Budge in his work). Take care and best blessings! ^_^

systemicsystems703: In Solomons temple, it was found that the high priest would worship the donkeyheaded god. All under a guise that they were praising the real God.
MrCJCala: "Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass." - Zechariah 9:9, KJV
