Welcome back :) Also this is an insane synchronicity! A few hours ago i was walking around and started thinking about how in Cyberpunk fiction the big corporations are depicted as these smothering inhuman machine bodies, but in our current day and age they present themselves as positive and happy, usually featuring a cute mascot like a Mickey Mouse or a Pikachu to give a sense of them being innocent and harmless I always thought about it this way, using Jungian terms, the Anima/Animus is what we think we lack and so desire to be complete, the Anima isn't just a single entity but is '2' (Multiplicity) it can be Sexy or Cute (it could be connected to the Madonna-Whore complex in Freud) to be, literally, attractive, as most of our time is spent investing in -products- of various kinds, artists, firms and the like have to rely on our 'Anima-desires' to attract us, and since, for the most part, can't attract us with sexiness as that would cause outrage, they instead attract us with cuteness Anima -> Anime and all that other stuff you've probably already heard a million times before ;P

Isn't this about arrested development, sexual infantilism? It's dangerous to try to pretend you're much younger than what you are chronologically. Adept artistic and spiritual souls retain those rejuvenated energies and they're pretty well documented in scripture.

You're completely off-base about the V-Tubers, especially the ones you have on screen. Yes, there are some who do take advantage of others, but many of those people have been shunned or deplatformed by and large. As the parasocial relationship between Tubers and Viewers grow, the former really do become more of who they are, and as "past life" records demonstrate, many of them really are who they are 'pretending' to be.
