As a fan of Navi, I want to personally thank Blade for believing in Alexi, taking him to the team, entrusting him with the role of captain, giving him the opportunity to make decisions and assemble the team. I wish them further success
And don't forget the fact it was s1mple who really wanted Aleksib to be in Na'Vi in the first place, he said it himself that to him, Aleksib is the best IGL out there
@@MysterL not sure about that lil pup. with how individuals of navi performed, i think they can match up to either of the team you mentioned. w0nderful can go toe to toe against zywho, JLegend can go against flamez. on the spirit side, current Jlegend against donk will be interesting.
As a ukrainian im so happy that it was he who became the captain of the new NAVI. All my friends said that he is a bot and without Boombl4 and s1mple NAVI will not achieve anything. But I believed in him until the last and he achieved his goal. His story is like a Hollywood movie, where the main character is beaten but at the last moment he gets up and wins. No one deserved it as much as he did
i was especially shocked when launders rated the new navi roster moves so poorly while i was sitting there thinking "that sounds pretty good" also in my opinion s0mple leaving the team rly helped, it was clear he had mental issues and was already horribly washed way before he left in cs2 and in my opinion s1mple might stay washed if he doesnt get ahold of himself
I was never an aleksib fanboy, but I've never thought he should have been kicked from all 3 teams he got kicked from. I've never thought that about a player before. Thought him getting kicked from ENCE was insanity from allu, thought him getting kicked from G2 was crazy because they only gave him 6 months and they looked like they were only getting better, and also the NIP kick was also insanity for me. I dont know if its players egos not wanting aleksi to have a voice over them or what, but I've never seen a player be treated worse by orgs.
The guy just never had a chance to properly develop a team in my opinion. Always cut before the grand result. I just love the whole ending for him in this story
@@ewencameron2443 he had his time in OG, they were in like top 10 teams most of the time, they beat many great teams many times, but maybe excet FlameZ, they never had top tier player to ever win a trophy.
yeah he punched way above his weight with the og roster, which was destined to amount to nothing since the org believed that the little dota fairytale could be repeated without any real structure or investment @@NaRc0s_G
@@TheNiittylahti I rate him #1 IGL cuz of long term winning from CS 1.6 big titles to regular trophies in CSGO with different rosters and coaches which shows that he was not randomly there.
Niko and his mates have said before that he has never forced any player out of a team and that he never had such power. The stupid hate against the greatest rifler ever is so stupid.
As a faze fan I really wanted to see Karrigan lift another major trophy and also Frozen to lift one as well. But with Aleksib’s history I’m happy he’s finally shut down some haters and won a major. He really needed this win.

I read everyone's suggestions for the name, and I think "Aleksi" probably suited it the best. 2019 while ENCE and Astralis were gearing up for the finale I was in a crappy hotel room begging the receptionist for a charger so I could watch the major grand final. Hadn't even thought about that until after I posted this vid. Crazy how fast time passes fr. Very happy that my boy Aleksi got his prize, even though I was supporting Faze lmao.
Also, music is original guys. Got the FL studio window still open in the background. Taking name suggestions. But I feel like "Aleksi" should be the obvious title right?
All you need to know is that you haven’t heard anything about any player from the Ence roster that he took to the Major final in 2019. If you didn’t believe, you didn’t watch.
@@TheNiittylahti I thought someone was gonna bring something up about allu being demoted to Tier 2 but this is worse than I could have imagined. Couldn’t have been more deserved after taking credit for Ence’s success and getting Aleksi kicked.
Aleksi is mentally very strong. Most players would have stopped because of criticism and mental heslt problems. But our Aleksi knew ehat hes capable of
Telling Aleksi's whole story with the same format as this video would be amazing. There is just so much to cover and no one has made a video of his career that does him justice. Great vid!
This guy deserves to win it all. I just hope that this roster doesn't stay in that post-major high for too long because they need to grind to remain at that level. He's got some great players in the squad. We all know that on a good day b1t is unstoppable. w1nderful will only keep growing and it's scary to imagine his peak. jL is an absolute Legend and iM is an awesome teamplayer and I hope that he gets his moment to shine as well, GL would not be in a grand final in Paris without him.
Ive been supporting the man since 2021for his big brain plays and looks lol. Its soo Great to see him Leading my FAVOURITE team to win the major (i stopped following the community in 2023) after recent catowice im back csgo again peaking
No matter what the haters say, Aleksi has always been a cool captain and a cool person. 😍Now he has received a well-deserved trophy. As a fan of his, I am incredibly happy and proud of him and the whole team. 🔥🔥🔥 Many say that their victory was an accident. But accidents are not accidental))) Many people say that they are lucky. But Aleksi just had a chance and he took advantage of it. Or now many sarcastically say: “Let’s see if NAVI will win the next tournament...” And none of them is embarrassed that, for example, Spirit, who recently took the trophy, ended up not even reaching the semi-finals. Times are different now and winning teams often replace each other. And this absolutely does not mean that their victories are undeserved. So fuck the haters. They are always unhappy with everything. If you don't win anything, you're bad; if you win, you're also bad. What to do with stupid and evil people?) 🙄 P.S. Thank you for the video ♥
Their 2019 run is honestly amazing. It gets forgotten by many easily, because they didn't win, but they beat G2 twice, Avangar, Liquid (who was at the time viewed insanely strong and the only team that could somewhat rival Astralis) all in BO3 and lost only to Astralis, who won the major without dropping a single map the whole tournament and was undisputed top team in the prime Astralis era. And then the org goes and kicks him after 3 months, ridiculous decision, he overachieved with that squad and it showed after a while too.
@imalemon3841 my wife knows I am a die hard Navi CS and Dota fan from the good old days... she asked me what the name meant and I explained to her. From there on she was set on the name. That was a couple of years before my daughter's birth. But still, I support them all the way.
@@imalemon3841 doesnt natus vincere/navi mean born to win? i guess you can just use that explanation instead if your daughter asks why you named her that 😂
Stories like this truly inspire me. Not only regarding Counter Strike but in life too. Now I respect AleksiB as much as i respect Zeus, both are great dudes who proved the whole community they were wrong.
I have been an AleksiBeliever since Ence, great to see him bring it home after slogging through under powered lineups and egotistical stars for so long
beautiful video, incredible how he showed everyone all the potential he really has, and even with everyone against him, he managed to beat a legend like Carrigan Faze and thus become the champion of the first CSGO2 major. Aleksib is a legend and his story will never be forgotten 3:20
Almost 100,000 Views! A Great start to a full documentary, loved the blend of music and voice narration! Be like AleksiB and ignore the haterz , this small intro clip you have made here is magic and you are def onto something very good, cannot wait for more shorts or full documentaries from you with the same narration, music, passion and talent you brought to this one! Great job! Keep at it my brother!
He deserves it so much. I feel like Blade's coaching structure and Aleksi''s IGL role found each other, and we might see a lot more of very good post csgo Na'vi.
I started following Aleksi from the days with OG and I immediately knew this was not where he belonged. I bought my first cosmetics: an OG sticker just because of Aleksi. Now I can finally get his signature: a Major winner. There's much more from this guy going forward
Great video! Aleksi definately needs more props, dude is super nice and calm. I remember when I started playing CSGO back in 2018/19 and was learning utility, then I found AleksiB, the real Nadeking. Throughout his journey in OG, NIP, G2, ppl seem to hate on him a lot and for no reason. They just hated on him. How depressed of a person you have to be to flame some1 who always been so chill? I never believed Aleksi would join Navi and win his 1st major, he probably didnt think on that as well. But there we GO! So happy for him! Navi must be the first org that really believed in Aleksi after all. Respect to Aleksi and whole NAVI org. p.s. jL , dude you are a legend..
Man this video smashed, really wished it was longer cause I think you’re a great storyteller man. Btw, from a creative standpoint, really sexy editing and shot selection fx like the slow-mos, I really feel if you took your writing to the extent of your music production you could have an amazingly solid show that people would watch. Your tone is mysterious and hauntingly draws you in, while your visuals tell the story. Brilliant mate, looking forward to more of your work! Also Aleksi is a great name to this track, I’d stream it on Spotify
That final was 100% worth watching at 1AM - 4AM during a monday where I didn't sleep anyway because I was fasting and had class in the morning, new nations winning a major and 4 players feeling the victory is just awesome. AleksiB would've done more with that NiP and G2 roster(would've been a disservice for him to stay at OG for too long tbh), and I'm glad that he won with a roster that on paper doesn't look too good but proved everybody wrong a month since w0nderful joined, everybody did their roles just right watching them play.
True story, even got the picture to back this up.. I waltzed into the NIP office in Stockholm in Sept 2022.. rang the bell, they opened up and I walked up to the 2nd or 3rd floor.. when I entered the office, the receptionist asked me who I am - I responded that I am the new CS coach.. she looked surprised and called another co-worker, who then asked the same thing.. I responded in the same way but they indicated that the active CS coach is currently in the practice room with the team.. I said that it was a joke and that I am a fan, looking to meet the team as I came from a far far country away (Mongolia).. eventually they let me in.. as I was walking through the office, es4tag was having breakfast and I briefly talked to him, plus snagged a picture.. then we proceeded very briefly to the glass windows of the practice room, and AleksiB was the only person that made the effort to walk out of the room and briefly talk to me followed by a picture.. I remember telling him that I believe in his IGL skills and that he will be a major winner some day - here we are only a year and half later with Navi..
i watch cs since 1.6 times, and if you find any hate towards this guy maybe your mindset is the problem. nothing to not like about this guy, doesnt mean you are bad cause you dont win every single tournament. im normally a ropz fanboy, and many others, but how they perform sometimes recently, or how they talked down onto people who didnt like the game at the start, and were critical... doesnt make me like them more tbh. recent few years other people really found my interest, and when you get to know them more through inter- views and such you notice how passionate, and humbe they are.
Tbh, I hate when organisations kick people out of the rosters as soon as they don't win a major. That's just unrealistic and creates the atmosphere of paranoia and fear in which players don't thrive to say the least, feel rigid and can't play to their fullest potential. Though Navi can kick people out like they did with SDY, they usually give people more time and chances to get comfortable and they have their backs. Good to see that the new Navi roster found the ultimate success in the game, all 5 of them and B1ade deserve it.
Aleksib was intractable, a major player at stake, he only needed his redemption according to the haters, they don't understand, it's a matter of trial, error and practice, there's nothing more to ask, because he is the player who showed face in all the games
I've always felt bad for the way the media and people online talked about Aleksib. On G2, it felt like he was never at fault, and the problems that G2 had back then are still happening to this day. As for ENCE, that was a shit show of a decision. Luckily with Navi, he got his Major and hopefully we'll see them win a few more events as the year goes on.
