Alesis sample Pad Pro Fix?? Noise/Hum Fixed!

This video is about how I was able to fix my problem of noise coming from this unit.
Other ways I have tried of getting rid of the noise/hum, that didnt work for me:
Di Box
Hum Exterminator
Balanced TRS
Unbalanced TS
Phones out
Combined the L/Mono and Right into a balanced Cable(Shown in video)
Took unit apart and took of the LED Power to the pad
These instances I took did not help me, but may help you!
The Fix for me:

It's a pain. The main issue is those plug in adaptors are noisy as they only half wave rectify.... A better PSU will provide better smoother supply (it's the conversion from AC to DC that's not as clean is the crux). Other options are running the entire thing of a UPS that has been charged up and unplugged, so you're using a groundless supply - so ground loops aren't a thing any more. I've had huge success running it through a DI box and flicking the ground lift on. Passive DI boxes are a pretty cheap solution. You don't need an active one.

Thanks! Many will find that useful! I was considering this multipad myself but I opted for something else. With your video everybody finally know the problem is made by Alesis cheap power adapter. Nice autogoal. I think I’ll keep on using the old Roland Octapad 2 that I chose instead. Still kicking hard!

thats not a balanced cable. theres no such thing as a balanced cable. there are cables used for balanced signals. but thats NOT such a cable. its just a stereo cable.
