Well mario is already classed as one of the best drummer on earth, so saying that he doesn’t get enough credit is not true , but i agree that alex dont get enough credit

believe it or not, producers are the reason why most of the bands sound really good, The band just plays what inspires them/what they've written during recording, and the producer will do all the rest of their masterpieces. Producers know how instruments should sound, so they may put in their ideas instrumentally and/or digitally into the mix as well. Sometimes, it's painful to produce music to someone with like ADHD who wants to know everything and wants to sound their music to what they want it to be so the producers needs to try to keep up with them which is really difficult, boring and more time-consuming, so kudos to every music producers for the efforts!

MarkyPaligs that’s pretty spot on. This was their project not one of mine so Josh (the producer) was very involved in that aspect. I went in knowing the core of the song and he changed stuff throughout to make it sound better or change the feel. Josh is incredible 🤘

I never thought I would say this, because Chris is one of my favorite drummers, but I feel like he could pick up a few things from Alex, anyone who disagrees, listen to The Sin and the Sentence and What the Dead Men Say, both Albums in their entirety and come back and talk to me.

I was going to make a comment along these lines as well. This shows his professionalism as well as just being a bad ass drummer.

@WhoDarestheMAN gamer No, because I dont think it's amazing because of the skill it's amazing because it fits perfectly to the song, if he wants he could do blastbeats and 300bpm double bass but that doesn't fit to the song and he plays really tight in one take. You know nothing about drumming if you think Kollias is better. Alex actually has feeling in his playing...any decent metal drummer can blast beat that fast if that’s ALL THEY DO FOR EVERY SONG! He’s good don’t get me wrong, but he’s boring as fuck.

Same. Always thought Chester would be sick in a true metal band. When I heard this, it proved it to me. Lamb of gif and trivium are my of my favorite bands of all time and linkin park was a huge part of my early teen years in 2000
