Do you use this reel just to showcase yourself online or for potential new work? A few of the others I’ve come across and resonate well are about 2/3mins at most long. I ask because I’m in the early stages of making a sports doc reel for myself to get new opportunities. Thanks in advance.
I cut this reel primarily to demonstrate my experience editing a variety of documentary films and series. I went for longer clips to actually allow the viewer to get a sense of my editing sensibility within each project. I usually link to it when submitting myself for new work.
