Charles gotta be shorter now due to age and hip surgeries. But still. The fact that Caruso is even close to Charles does make what Barkley did more impressive.
Seeing these active players besides charles is just another great way to remind us how a great rebounder he was. He led the league in rebounds with that height.
@@oshayTHAkid Height hasn’t changed much from the 80s to today. Chuck would always be small for a power forward. He was 6 foot 5 inches. He played against power forward Kevin McHale who was 6 foot 10 and Karl Malone who was 6 foot 9. By comparison Denver’s Aaron Gordon is 6 foot 8.
He's the same height as Draymond or close, and Draymond is listed 6'7". Barkley is 6'5" at least. 6'6" in shoes, which is what he was listed his whole life. Caruso looks closer to 6'7" himself. He looks the same height as Draymond and dwarfs Ernie.
kenny should have passed the ball to shaq way earlier and catch dramond off guard for sure. i was anticipating that, it would've been one for the ages... alas.
This was actually a hilarious segment. The Ernie clip at the beginning, Kenny making the 3, Shaq missing the layup, Caruso cursing, Chuck and Draymond joking about the play in, all just peak television.
Draymond saying he could guard Jokic better than he's being guarded right now but Big Honey dropped 32-16-16 on his head in their only match-up this year.
@@TopDrifter203it's damn near the same. 8 less points 3 more assists which is at best 6 points. Then 9 more boards. Draymond got dominated just as bad. When he goes on his podcast and says straight up that Jokic kicked his ass and he had no answers, you think he would be more forgiving of what happened to Gobert, but nah he being a salty bitch instead
@@jjms7167actually he can lol he got 4 dray got 3 lol but yea Shaq doesn’t do that with championship winners he just does it with those who haven’t won
Alex Caruso is one of my favorite players!! He uses every trick and strategy to get most out of every game!! Someone mentioned him as a future coach, I can see that happening!!
@@lyinbobbycottonseed meh. Professional nba player with (to my knowledge) no television experience. I dont just naturally expect someone like that to come on national tv and perform well. Don't know whats weird about that.
@@julio3275 you don’t expect adult human beings who happen to be good at basketball and spend their entire careers dealing with media to be able to speak in compete sentences? What planet are you from?
It’s great to see TNT inviting “blue collar” type of players to their show and the fact that they hired one in Draymond Green is a cherry on top. These guys are able to give a perspective that star players like Shaq and Chuck would never be able to give.
Draymond said he can guard Jokic better than he’s being guarded right now. He didn’t say he can stop Jokic. That’s not really saying much as Draymond got toasted by Jokic. LoL.
Do you understand how hard it is to stop an elite player like Jokic one on one, look how Gobert got trashed by him. The most you can do is slow them down and give them hard looks
@@smithsgonefishing I don’t disagree but Draymond is criticizing Gobert for having one bad defensive game so it’s fair to point out he didn’t do much better.
The pace and space era will destroy LA Shaq in Pick and Rolls but he'll obviously dominate the Paint. Orlando Shaq is better suited in this era imo since he'll be better in switches while still having his paint domination
This was a really good segment - you can tell they're drawing inspiration from the likes of JJ with Mind the Game by spending time covering and analyzing plays. An obviously they naturally know how to make it fun and lighter. Love it!
It’s the camera angle. If you’re in the center/middle, you’ll look smaller. When you’re standing far left especially far right, you’ll look taller. That’s the magic of camera lens.
Dam can't believe this show is ending. Lits of great memories. Lots if great guest. This was A great episode. Hope yall do a podcast talking basketball the draft and the playoffs. Going to miss you guys. 🤜🏾🤛🏾
