Califiori will play at left back. Arsenal is building a defense where their back four are like having 4 centerbacks/Hybrids. Some people don't seem to get it. Calafiori's stocks keep rising. He is currently the face of that Italian National team and one of the best young Italian defenders in football at the moment. 12 to 13 years ago no chance any club outside of AC Milan , Juve or Inter get him. It is a huge statement for any club outside of Italy to get a hold of an italian defender that is that highly rated by their country because it just does not happen. What it also does for Arsenal's brand and how we are perceived is also massive. A team that is so defensively dominant with a defender in Saliba who is already top 3 in world football recruiting a Calafiori just makes the defensive presence of Arsenal so much more intimidating to come up against especially if he meets the expectations that so many have of him.

Owners have already more the tripled the value of the club meaning all the new Prem revenue for this season can go on improving the team and advancing it with hungry players.
