With Raymond and Debrincat has his linemates. He's almost guaranteed to be minimum PPG. Not to mention that if hes able to keep up his 30+ goal pace, he's liable for possibly 90+ points.
no player in the nhl is happy being in the 2nd line instead of 1st line. So thats irrelevant. Another thing is that it was a really small part of the reason why he wanted to leave.

And if you are going to make an argument like this then go to every teams 2nd liner and i guarantee noone is happy being on the 2nd line instead of 1st line. Is it selfish not necessary. And the fact is that he would be better first line winger on line with stutzle than Tkachuck... Stats prove it he would have higher production than tkachuck had. And again the 2nd line thing wasnt even the main reason why he left. On a list of the reasons it is dead last...
@theold4734 there is no chance that DeBrincat is a better player than Tkachuk. Cat is a better pure goal scorer and that's it. Tkachuk brings much more to the table, he's built for pressure and brings it in every aspect. Zero chance Cat would ever play ahead of Tkachuk, it was never even a thought.
