USWNT co-captains and NWSL Orlando Pride and Seattle Reign FC star strikers, Alex Morgan and Megan Rapinoe ("Pinoe") sit down for an exclusive interview with ESPN on July 9th, 2019 just two days after winning the Women's World Cup ("WWC") by defeating the Netherlands 2-0 in the final held at Stade de Lyon in France on July 7th, 2019. It was the second consecutive title for Team USA and the fourth overall in franchise history. Pinoe took home the golden ball as mvp/best player of the tournament as well as the golden boot for top scorer. Morgan took home the silver boot for second top scorer having been equal on points with Pinoe with six goals and three assists but having played more minutes (the tiebreaker). When asked about the legacy of the '19ers, Morgan and Pinoe said they want to change the world and the game forever!
