@@Rex_Smashington Your going to try and say that after POATAN left him giving head to an oxygen machine and riding out on a stretcher ending his KB career, Izzy couldn’t win even 1 Title in Glory and then Pereira took his MW belt at MSG when he was 24-1 and undefeated at MW and Poatan had 7 mma fights, then Poatan moves up to become 2 division Champ, something else Izzy could never do, then beat everybody Izzy lost to, trained Strickland on how to route Izzy for 5 straight rounds then completely erased and replaces Izzy as the biggest star in the sport. It’s really like 10-1 and Izzy’s running with that 1 for the rest of his career💯
It’s interesting how individuals prime years vary. Izzy seems to be on a sort of decline while Alex is on the rise. Maybe it isn’t so much physical prime as much as it is prime career moment
Scissor knee against Wilnis was better than against the poor can the ufc fed him. Wilnis had talked mess about Alex being a boxer not a kickboxer. Wilnis was elite and got finished by a high kick and switch knee.
He is a top fighter but all this "Unstoppable" stuff needs to stop 😂 he is not a machine like some make out. Aspinall is a great fight that will do major numbers.
@@MB-ov5xj you think just because he’s famous and champion in the UFC a regular dude couldn’t beat him ? I could be the better fighter, you’ve just never seen me 🙏🏽
And Izzy knocked him out frozen like Elsa 😂😂😂 that rematch was the best ever and Izzy destroyed Alex and nobody went toe to toe with Alex but Izzy and only guy to beat him and knocked him out 😂
@@wesleyparra5055 nope Izzy will always own Alex doesn’t matter the record Alex has over him. That knockout Izzy did erased it all he put Alex to sleep frozen like Elsa he was sleeping 😴 out cold
@@frankthetank819 doesn't matter if alex knocked out him before, too? Or if its 3 x 1 for poatan, or if poatan won Jan and Sean 2 fighters which izzy couldn't won, or if poatan is 2 weight class champion, something izzy try to do it but failed, and poatan made all that in so few years and its a bigger star than adesanya, he is good, but the results of poatan are more impressive
@@wesleyparra5055 Izzy will always be bigger then Alex Izzy did more for the sport then Alex he’s been around longer Izzy is a legend and Alex is great but Izzy will always be greater
@@tatawbr You are correct and I am a huge fan of Alex. But what Izzy will most likely always have now, is that he won the last time they fought. Also, his stoppage was the most devastating of the 3 stoppages that have occurred out fo their 4 fights. I have a feeling that for Izzy, that makes the 3 losses easier to bear.
@@TobiasSmith-u9bdid you even watch all there fights ?? Izzy was limp and needed an oxygen tank for him to wake up. He literally died for a second. And how ironic that Izzy was talking about how pereira will be in a bar someday talking about how he beat him one time when that’s exactly what Izzy is doing right now in present time 😂
@@TobiasSmith-u9band after his ko loss to Izzy within only a year alex went on to beat the only other guy that beat Izzy and took the belt that Izzy also couldn’t obtain. What happened to Izzy after he won the belt back again? Could you remind me where Izzy’s at now in the rankings.
@@PyRo-zm3lk Way to take my comment way too seriously! Good job. You clearly read into my comments way too much. Anyway, it is totally ridiculous of you to think that Izzy shouldn't be able to consider it a moral victory given that he knocked Alex out cold. I suspect Alex getting KOd like that was related to the fact that he is too big for that weight class and the weight cut was killing him and depleting his ability to take a shot. Nevertheless, if you are Izzy, you currently have bragging rights until they fight again. That is just reality. If they fought again, particularly if they fought again at LHW, I would certainly pick Alex to win for a 4th time.
The fact that an aging retired kickboxer that lost 18% of his fights in kickboxing is "an unstoppable force" in the UFC should tell you how good the UFC marketing machine is in selling you the idea UFC fighters are the baddest men on the planet. If that doesn't convince you, then look at the dominance of other retired decorated experts that dominated in the UFC like Ronda Rousey in her days and Daniel Cormier in his. Both washed up in their actual disciplines but dominators in the UFC. Long story short: In reality, the UFC is where former professional combat sports athletes go to make a buck and hopefully rise up to rockstar level celebrity status. Highly entertaining marketing and insane production value though, I'll give them that.
That “aging retired kickboxer” was a two division champ in glory kickboxing that was knocking everyones head into the bleachers and was considered the best. Most of his losses came early in career when he literally had like 3 years worth of experiance. I dunno why you are trying to downplay his accomplishments when he is definitely one of the best strikers alive on the planet right now.
@@arman_llc624 I'm not arguing against Pereira, I'm arguing against the UFC hyperbole machine. Dudes like Rogan seeing a Pereira KO and then proceed to claim it was the best right hook ever witnessed in the history of mankind. And then proceed to having everyone believe he is an unstoppable demi god when in reality he'd get positively merced if he ever set foot in a kickboxing ring again. And again, that's not hating on Pereira, because he absolutely is an accomplished combat sports athlete! I'm just illustrating that typically a decorated specialist in an ACTUAL martial art (being in the twilight of his/her career) can smoke a division in the UFC.
@@Darksjeik “he would get killed if he set foot in a kickboxing ring again” Are you actually high? He literally has nothing more to prove in kickboxing, he has more accomplishments in kickboxing than literally anybody else. There have been other high level kickboxers that haven’t had any success in the UFC at all like Gokan sakki, so its more so about Alex being able to adapt to mma the UFC being a low skilled org. People praise him because he is that good and he shows it time and time again through his constant improvements.
But...but... he have cool walkout. aspinal do not. Alec undefeted kickfighter and undefeted champin of the world 3-1, do aspenol beat izzy? nop, exactly .... but..but .. chama..... left hook.... chama voodoo
@@frankgallagur2045 wow, cool walkouts win fights, that's a new one. You said undefeated and then immediately showed that izzy beat him. Does izzy fight at heavyweight? no! Take your head out of your ass if you gonna comment 😄
