Alex Pereira talks about Jiri Prochazka's comments on his spirituality ahead of UFC 303 this Saturday night. MERCH: themaclife.tee... VISIT: www.themaclife.com FOLLOW: / themaclifeofficial FOLLOW: / themaclife LIKE: / themaclife
He's basically throwing it in Jiri's face that he uses Shamanism because nobody will stop him from doing so anyway. So he's telling Jiri to find the local Shamans from his own country and do the same thing. Hence the quote "I have found my spirit. If he has not found his spirit or believe (in shamanism) then it's not my fault."
You clearly haven't experienced Shamanism or Voodoo... Jiri is right... listen closer to Alex's response... he admits it and says Jiri needs to use the Shamans from his own country
What Alex actually said about Conor: "I think they are different situations. I believe he did the best thing. I don't advise anyone to fight with a broken toe because it limits you a lot. I was quite limited. And the conditions are different, he worked hard to achieve what he achieved. I'm in the middle of my journey, so I accepted fighting even with a broken toe. I think he did the best thing and maybe in his place, I would do the same."
@@marcosr7741 o Plínio resumiu, adicionou algumas coisas e omitiu outras. Eu não julgo ele, porque é difícil traduzir uma fala tão grande sem fazer isso. Achei importante incluir a parte que ele falou sobre como lutar com o dedo do pé quebrado limita bastante o lutador porque muita gente por aí tá falando que não é nada
He dead ass need to be in the movies… he didn’t even flinch when they asked about the spells and magic “allegations”… he didn’t even crack a smirk at all and then said “not my problem if he doesn’t believe” this dude is Amazing lmaoooo
Because its not a joke to him. The magic is very real to him, and in reality they communicate with demons instead of ancestors. People think Bryce Mitchell is different, but when Alex Pereira talks about his magic being 100% serious its suddenly cool. 😂 Alex 100% believes in magic
@@OoLiiMiiT3Dpeople take alex seriously because he wins. they don't take bryce mitchell serious because he has an IQ of 12 and is going to sit at barely journeyman level for the rest of his career
@sci_ent_ificsui_neg9236I feel like his messages seem incoherent since English isn’t his first language. Yeah he’s odd, but I can tell he struggles to find appropriate descriptive words and adjectives to convey himself so it just sounds goofy
@@kenkem1855 Boy I don't know what you talking, the fuck you mean jin?! What I am talking about is brazilian native ascendecy which he do have, that means it is culture not magic...
Chama comes from the Portuguese verb Chamar (to call) Which Alex uses as a slang term from a region in northeastern Brazil. To say come or not come? Will I or won't I? Do I do it or not do it? shall we or shall we not? It's like something good is happening now. Jiri changed it to Shamam🤣🤣😂. I think Poatan hit him too much in the head.
Dude needs to hire a dedicated translator. Im sure Plinio is a good coach with how successful Alex has been but he completely disregards the actual message and does the bare minimum when translating
Thats like Alex saying don’t pray to the father or Jesus before our fight he’s indigenous respect his culture. Christianity was spread forced through bloodshed aka the inquisition
@@fabolousjada5070 I get what ur saying, I’m just talking about how people are calling jiri crazy cause he thinks Alex is using spiritual practices before fights, as if Alex didn’t confirm that he does
I like how Alex is so neutral and respectful to the tricky questions some ''journalists'' asking him, especially those that are trying to make him say something bad for someone else and he is shutting the question with respect for the person they are asking him.
Alex response to Jiri saying he was winning in the second round is Just brilliant. For the fighter it´s not about how the fight is going, but how it ends and which Hand is risen.
I am not Brazilian and my Portuguese is good enough to know that he massacred the translation in my places. 100% I could have translated both ways much better, and that should not be possible.
@ayvzu it's a war chant. His walkout when he does the stutter steps is based on that war ritual. I don't know that they're calling out demons or spirits but they're definitely establishing a vibration. Although from what I understand, Poatan is actually of the Christian faith.
The shaman comments are in relation to the videos of Alex going to his native tribe / village in Brazil and practicing their culture and rituals as well as Alex coming out to weigh ins with war paint on his face. Crazy how many people can't connect the dots.
I believe it, I have a bit of a crisis because it seems bits and pieces of this world are being revealed but not many are taking it seriously.. people clowning jiri but I'm sure THEY ALL know something about spirituality and jiri definitely has a right to be apprehensive but at end of the day he's a "fighter"
Deny what? The culture & religion he was born into so shows respect & admiration for? Its no different than any other local cultural belief or religion. The only difference is the ignorance of uneducated outsiders making assumptions instead of viewing at as another religion or culture based in their local traditions and customs.
@@dragamiramort1145 Its deffinelly similar, but not the same, i would say 30% of the spanish words are the same of portuguese, but that 70% make a diference
@@alexandrepedroso6705 Thank you so much for your answer🩷, btw i am from the czech republick(the same as Jiří Procházka)but i am fan of Alex Pereira. What do you think about what Jiří said about black magic (He thinks that Alex use it).
Here is an example of how the spiritual magic works… Alex has had quite a few early stoppage wins in his career. Just like he beat jiri last time. Spirits can influence the referees to make such decisions (without them knowing they are being influenced). They can’t win the fight for Alex but they can nudge things in certain directions to give him an edge like said example.
Other than the spirit thing, my main takeaway from this is, concerning the McGreogor question, that Alex views himself at 50% of having it made in life. How much of that is related to fighting I don't know, but happy to hear that he isn't already thinking of retirement
For our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. -Ephesians 6:12
A true warrior jumps at a chance to fight to any challenger. Only to further his experience and test his metal despite any possible outcome or risk...they will fight. This is a true warrior! 💯
15:04 Alex is so real man he picked Izzy and Izzy picks always other fighters against Poatan cuz hes bitter smh Alex is the real face of the ufc now and already a legend
I think there was a breakdown in translation or communication from Jiri when he said both him and Alex should both enter the fight with no external distractions. I don't think he was saying Alex shouldn't channel his shaman spirituality for this fight, but instead that they both should enter the octagon with no external factors or excuses. Because the question Jiri was asked when he said that was how Jiri might handle the excuses of Pereira's fans if Pereira loses. I could be wrong in my interpretation, though
Just thought of a reason why Alex Pereira is loved by people across the world so much, and very clearly so many that are English speaking is his humble nature. He knows what he is there to do, he is professional and doesn’t lie to sell fights. When you look at someone who is about to fight for a title who just lost his last fight and took time off to come back and be handed a chance at getting a title back when anyone else would of had to do another fight to earn back his title shot but because this particular person show boats and talks himself up to the level of cringe lord he would never get the level of love and respect world over like Alex
he does practice spiritual ancestry or something from his indigenous roots it’s actually a bad thing if anything since biblically it’s most definitely demons helping you out to get you to trust them over God
He literally did. He said that no one is just flesh and bones. That everyone has a Spirit (soul) and that it isn't his fault that Jiri hasn't found his
This translator was terrible. He didn’t any kind of context to Alex. But anyways, I got Alex by tko round 3. I would expect him to absolutely DESTROY with low kicks the first two rounds. Hopefully jiri has worked on checking kicks. Rakic was eating that leg up too before he got knocked down. WE GOT A FIGHT ON OUR HANDS BOYZ!!!! LETS Fn GO!
When the reporter asks what is Alex's greatest triumph in his career so far and he replies "being a better person", you can tell he's been through some shit.
It is not that Jiří has not found his spirits. On the contrary, he is very well aware of how these spiritual realms function and how to work with them. From the fragments of information Jiří has shared about his spirituality in various interviews over the years, I get the impression that his consciousness relates to the original essence of creation. He believes in his abilities as a human being, and his connection to the original essence allows him to fulfill his mastery. This is a different game than relying on spirits and shamanism.
