I have never pulled a trailer, let alone backing one up. Alex turning that truck around first try was like watching a magic trick for me! 🤣 Awesome job!
I farmed an drove truck for close to 40 years your old daughter is a excellent driver ,an not hard equipment. She a natural. All your kids have been raise right an do not shy away from a hard day's work. You do not disappoint in your you- tube channel an like I said before hardest working farming family on youtube .
Blind side reversing. The hardest manoeuvre when driving an articulated vehicle. Alex hit it first time, and with the camera rolling for all the world to see. No pressure then! Well done.
Interaction with your daughters make a great video Andy! Such a great hard working family you have!!! Nice to see Alex warming up to videos, hope to see more of her. 👍👍👍👍👍
Your daughter's are lucky: they got their looks from their mom... 🤣, I say the same thing about my own precious little girls, all over 21 now. Great video, and you have a great family of hard working kids, Andy! Kudos to y'all!
Hi Andy ! Thanks Alex for the ride and you do a very good job . that freight shaker is looking good . Thanks everybody for your time and have a good day at the farm !
Andy alex is going to teach how to back up under pressure. Your kids do a amazing job and all of them deserve a big thumbs up on what they do every day
Another great video Andy. I love to see the kids doing everything they do. Those girls of yours are better drivers and operators then a lot men I know. You and your wife should be very proud of all your kids. Kee the videos coming.
Let Alex know she is doing a great job and i can tell she really loves the freightliner as a truck driver milk hauler i know guys that have drove 25 to 30 years that cant back that good
Andy Alex is doing a awesome job hearing you talk in this video it very evident your having a proud dad moment and you have ever right to be proud of Alex.
Nice driving Alex. Interesting your fuel comp Andy with Cat V Detroit. An interesting comp would be your Cat V DD15 in your star. I drive a shaker with DD15 (DPF) on short haul, drinks 7 to 8 litres per 10 km, the 0:51 boss has a KW C15, 25 to 30% less, both 500hp.
Andy. To bad there wasn't smell a vision. Lol then people could smell the money. LMAO. You have a valuable team with every one there. One lucky Farmer. Please let Miss Alex that I said Thank you for sharing this ride along! Hope to go on others.
I rode by a field with fresh manure on my motorcycle. Smells real good. A few seconds later, I'm past it. Must be interesting living next to this field.
That's the best knowledge you can give them young girls what they're doing I teach my 11 year old and 14 year old granddaughter the same thing how to drive tractors and stuff good job from Gary
Good seeing your Alex. She,s looking good. Perhaps the weather getting better has that effect on all of us. But i cant match that beautiful smile she has . But i am a 60 year old wrinkly now
She’s a catch and I’m surprised that the young men in the area aren’t circling like vultures . Ha! You are a blessed father Andy , you should be proud .
I used to live like 5 minutes from Detroit Diesel back in my 20’s.Living in the suburbs of Detroit your used to seeing car/truck plants everywhere you went. Now lot of the Plants are shut down and are in Mexico or china which is a shame
Is the other truck more fuel efficient due to its engine, or is Alex's truck less fuel efficient due to the axle gearing in it? Alex is awesome and always looks so sweet. All your kids are impressive though.
The manure storage at the farm can have a sump retro cut into the floor as you have a construction crew working on the new milk barn. I've cut a lot of structural concrete, just have to sand bag a work area to keep the bottom 10'' of manure controlled.
I use a 122SD with 600 detroit 2050 torque hauling logs on a self loading trailer averaging over 100,000 lbs. when loaded. 3.91 rears and average 4.3 mpg.
I think my 379 3406e (awesome kitty)with dump trailer got 5 to 6 mpg highway in town would be scary to know 😂 but all the new engines are great for the environment 🤣🤣with that awesome def fluid that makes me leave the skidsteer running wide open while i get out to do something while it does a burn off
They fixed all those problems with older emissions systems. Guy I drive for on occassion to fill vacations of his driver's has 15 end dumps and two detachable low boys running he got three new 2023 International HX 620s with ISX 550s in them we haul sand and stone into 4 concrete ready mix plants in the nearest city about 65 miles away. New trucks are getting about 9-10 mpg. The older W900s and Western Stars he has with Cats and Cummins in them get about 5 mpg.
Running out of manure to spread is certainly better than running out of fields to apply product to. As you expand the dairy operation most likely won’t be a shortage of manure
Have you noticed a difference in fuel consumption between trucks with automatic transmission and standard? I've been a truck driver for 35 years and when I went from a standard to automatic my fuel mileage went way down. Definitely burned less with the standard
