Rocky Mountain Race Week is here! It was a hot and windy first day at Great Bend, but @RidingWithAlexTaylor conquered the track in the evening with a 7.06/202 pass in her 55 Chevy. Cleetus McFarland could only muster some mid-sevens in the Mullet El Camino, while his team mate LS George went sky high in the newly supercharged Blazer. We were impressed by Jason Hurley's Meltdown Firebird, which knocked out some mid-sevens on its first serious outing, And there was plenty of other cool stuff hitting the track - it's all in the video!
Unfortunately the timing boards were out during the day and the event results are not yet online so we have tried to give you times where we could hear them from the announcer.
Let us know if you like the 4K upload! We're not sure if this will be possible every day this week as it depends on the upload speed at our hotels, but fingers crossed.
