@@solitudewoodworking @UncleHank; @Tom Bailey; Luke Nieuwhof seems like a good fellow and very likable. His videos showing the prepared stops before Sick Week were very good, well done, with some nice, clear, descriptions and presentations. 😄 am in very much agreement that about the effort Luke put into some emphasis within this vlog upon interviewing several of the younger drivers, new drivers along with a two of the top drivers. Though these drivers were interviewed 😏, their actual passes either were poorly shown as nearly all of the others 😒 - mostly just the launch, with the times not shown clearly or at all, and many the trap speeds are shown. Also, the overall number and group selected drivers are very limited and the actual recorded videos shown are generally poorly done, recorded, and shown. 😒 -1. often unable to read or see the time board posted or lacking information. -2. the latter daylight runs shown were recorded from inside, in the middle position near start line, launch area, with the board of the right lane blocked by the 'tree lights'. -3. camera angles are poor, limited, lacking following the cars down the track, without use of any zoom and clearly visible, readable focus upon the time/speed measurement display board. - 4. a very limited number of selected participants. It seems that Luke still needs some significant improvement within good, proper video recording of the passes, use of and with the camera equipment, possibly the editing too, depending upon the available recorded videos. -5. These summaries could be much more expansive, show more drivers, from every category and not just some highlight with the limited few. -6. There is some small improvements with video recording shown and presentation compared to the previous event, Luke covered last month. -=>but, this Day 2, RMRW 2022 is noticably less than quality of and with the actual passes than Day - Both are very limited My hope is that these comment will be read, reviewed, comprehended, realized and thus be useful helpful and beneficial to Luke. 😏 - My comments and purpose are never to be a 'Yes man' and ignore the obvious. 😐 =>Rather, to appreciate, compliment what is good and critique what is lacking and needs improvement. 🤓 hopefully this will be receive, taken, accepted, used, be helpful and beneficial within the positive intents and purposes. 😏 All The Best and Much Success in Your Quest, Health, Happiness and Well Being. 😊 Sincerely ☺
im half sure he's been doing drag racing media in aus for a fair while and given he'd have motivevideo and fullboost as mates yeah no shock he's good at coverage
Yup, and none of them are banging on about empowerment or girl power or screaming about feminist rights, they're just getting on with it, and gettin' 'er done...... It's great to see.
Watching them on another channel first doesn't take anything aways from them and their channels, it just makes you more hyped to see it from their perspective
@@Matty.Hill_87 I felt the same as the above comment and agree with yours 100% ! I just want updates right away, I get to support this new channel and then still watch theirs and support them too
When there's multiple coverage from these events I usually watch it in all channels I follow, because even though the runs might still be the same, most of the time they get different perspectives/focus on different cars, or interviews with different people that have cool cars. 1320, Tom, Cleet, KSR, PFI... I usually watch all of them :P
@@carsetc1794 he did do a 6.99 with mullet, during sick week. And I understand from that event/videos, its not even turned up to near its limits (2500 hpish; he's running it somewhere between 1600hp and 2000hp currently. He's got the power, his game is going to be with traction.)
@@somethingsomeonesaid6455 ive seen all his passes since the fabrication of mullet, im talking about rocky mt race week, this current event, its crazy that hes almost at 6's in this event when big tires are struggling to do the same. Take care.
@@carsetc1794 Ah, gotcha. I have been noticing that the bigger tire cars are putting out "mild" passes for what they are capable of. Might be to save the car for later too, but when your chassis is set up for big power and you don't give it that, the whole system doesn't follow through with full power transfer.
foxbody car #183 sounds so good and rips! Was wondering what it was in yesterdays video, its a coyote no wonder it sounds so good! Favorite stickshift class car forsure. Stoked to watch Alex & cleet battle, but sorry cleet ya brought the wrong tires, Alex is going to take the W
Thanks for the Coverage and also showing the more average competitors. I think when people are only seeing insanely fast cars it might discourage alot of people of wanting to participate.
Really enjoying your video style , just right no mad overpowering music or jumpy cuts . Nice interviews with the drivers and teams. Keep it up. Thank You for enabling us to get involved in this event 😎👍
Thank god Alex didn't listen to her dads depression, and went for it anyway!! 7.23 is rockin'!! Glad to see her and Cleetus getting their cars sorted out, this will make for some great competition!!
@@jdbergan No, that's pretty much how he is. I watch Alex's channel and he is always about the same. Don't get me wrong, he's very good at what he does he just doesn't come across as happy. He might well be happy, but doesn't really show it. Then again, pretty much anyone will look sour beside Alex.. lol.
It's much harder for Cleetus to make a super fast pass than Alex. She is on a big ass bias ply slick, and Cleetus is on a 315 radial.THANKS TOM! you the man.
Hey Tom it's all getting better!👍 Glad to see we are finally getting to see more ET'S and that's great cause I was about to give up. Only thing I could call a complaint at this point is there were several teaser's where we watched cars through the traps but then the video was edited literally a half a second before the ET showed, but other than that it was great! For me ET's are the main reason I watch a video and if it wasn't for them I'm wouldn't be watching. One way to look at it is think of all the friends of the participants that are following your videos to follow their friends progress and have to go elsewhere to find their times.
Great coverage guys. Loving the interviews with racers and the quick run down of their cars. - really something that sets this apart from others I reckon 👌👌
Thanks for being the great update you always are. Looks like Mullet should only get faster and Alex will be lucky to make it the distance. If mullet takes the win it could be the best all around best drag and drive car on the planet
Cleetus and Alex almost match times is awesome being Cleetus is on small tires while Alex is got big tires I bet if the Mullet had the same size tires Cleet would be running sixes all the time or very low sevens on bad runs
I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up trying big tires eventually. That much power on a small tire only works when the track is really good like Bradenton
@@lysolmax I watched all the build videos and I must have missed it! But I wouldn’t put it past Kevin to do exactly that! That man thinks way ahead on his builds!!!
@@Matty.Hill_87 Slower rebound would help keep the nose down. Combine that with harder bump damping would reduce or eliminate all the bouncing when it lands. Right now it rides like it has no dampers on it at all.
Should make a video of just ladies and one of just kiddos for RMRW! I am sure over the week you can catch them all at least once on track and a pit interview!
@UCBnKwyYXOGlIi9rjoq6SfOw sorry buddy i had to, I flubbed a bunch of words on an unexpected interview so pointing out the screwups is just part of the fun. But man you have the car to back up the talk, would love to hear about suspension and clutch setup. Do you use a Clutch Tamer?
@@kevin_nagle no you’re good haha. Knew you were joking lol. I do use clutch tamer. We built a bracket that lets the cylinder drop out so that I can shift the car without it engaging. Super cool.
LOL!!! His hair looks much better when he’s at home or going out somewhere. It’s just when he’s busy working on the cars or out in the hot wind that it gets all crazy looking.
