Alex Thomson had not done his research properly as he failed to mention that Rangers had already been found to have used a dodgy tax avoidance scheme at the time of this interview. I am ofcourse referring to the "wee tax case", where Rangers had used a "discount option scheme" to pay player's wages. As a result HMRC had proven this and hit Rangers with a 6 million tax bill for it. Weird that Lord Nimmo Smith failed to mention this in his report and in fact decided to count the discount option scheme the same as the EBT scheme, which at the time of his findings had not been proven to be tax avoidance or a way to pay players' wages.
Huns potentially liable for 130 million quid in debt & fines....you wonder how they'll get out of this unless someone with very deep pockets comes in and clears the debt which seems unlikely at this stage (Apr 2012)
How can Celtic FC be twice as big as Rangers FC when Celtic FC have 160 supporters clubs worldwide and Rangers FC has 600 supporters clubs across the globe?
