He's had an extensive and varied coaching career in the NFL after his playing days helping many different QBs with wide-ranging skill sets. He was the QB coach and offensive coordinator on the Bills where he coached fellow backup QBs like Trent Edwards and Ryan Fitzpatrick. Then in Tampa Bay, as QB coach he helped mentor rookie Josh Freeman. Flip to Green Bay where he worked with veteran Aaron Rodgers as a QB coach helping him win MVP in 2014. Then to the Bengals as their QB coach where he worked with Andy Dalton for 2 seasons. Now he's the Browns offensive coordinator working with Brissett and Watson.

Alex Van Pelt wasn’t a great quarterback during his time in the NFL, so he threw more interceptions than touchdowns in his career. Today, he is a ln offensive coordinator with the Patriots.🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈
