Just looking at these highlights he really could've been a great qb ive seen other videos that label him a total disaster like if he was bad his whole time he was there he had some good plays but his lifestyle is what held him back
Every Super Bowl I always watch it at my co-workers nice backyard. As an immigrant and not knowing about whose who in nfl, I always thought they are replaying the previous years nfl because I always see Tom Brady playing
Raiders fans used to complain about AW being so slow, but I thought his dropping back in the pocket wasn’t bad. Reminds me a little of Aiden O’Connell.
Ryan Leaf was his QB Coach at W. Texas A&M. Marc Bulger was injured frequently in 2009. Cal's Kyle Boller was 0-4 in starts, so Null was sent in for 4 starts. The 1-15 '09 Rams are ranked as one of the worst NFL teams ever. Bad contracts, bad players, bad temperament, and RB Steven Jackson. This is how Sam Bradford became a Ram in 2010.
Remember Tommy “Gun” Flakes? They sold them in stores, regionally, once upon a time, when Tommy “Gun” Maddox quarterbacked for the Pittsburgh Steelers. I have an ancient box of the unopened cereal that I bought at an estate sale. I also have a Tommy Maddox rookie card. Not playing football, but as an insurance agent with Allstate. The back of the card lists Maddox’s sales record, but on the front, the QB’s clean-shaven face answers a desk phone with the smooth oversized hands of a grown-up Prom King. He wears a long chubby tie that’s part corporate executive part fingerpaint part optical illusion. From one angle, the tie displays a galaxy of puked-up stars while from another angle we see a blueprint of the U.S.S. Titanic while from yet another angle we see the end credits of Raiders of the Lost Ark. Hard to believe the guy was murdered by his own wife. They were having sex and she just strangled him. With her breasts. Picture that! I can’t. Should’ve taken physics in high school. Apparently, this woman was Miss Rhode Island. Not a lot of competition. But still. They say he let her do it, but I can’t accept that. There’s not a human being on the planet that could allow themselves to be strangled, I don’t care if you’re Ghandi, it just goes against nature, but they say he just went limp, no forensic evidence of resistance. This is a signed copy of Breathing for Dummies by T.G. Maddox. During my stint in the XFL, Maddox writes, I got really into mindfulness. Meditation, breathwork, hypnosis. The whole gamut. I remember once this guy from the Orlando Rage had me in a head lock. The old Tommy would’ve panicked because the neck is fragile not to mention an erogenous zone. But drawing on the resources available on an exclusive basis to one’s left nostril, I struck a bargain with The Great Peace, re-alkalizing my blood PH. And that’s when I knew, this stuff really works.
I was 12 or 13 & just really getting into football when he left the Bears for the USFL Chicago Blitz. I remember he & Ditka not getting along & that was that for Vince in Chicago. He’d get into Raiders games & just light it up, though! Awesome player … I wonder if the Bears would have won another Super Bowl if he & McMahon would have both been Bears until they retired?
I always felt that Strock was better than Griese and Woodley. He had great size, a good arm, and incredible intelligence. IMO, If Shula had not been obsessed with Woodley's athletic abilities the Dolphins would have won at least two Superbowls ('81 and '82) with Strock over Center.
Is it just me but thigpen was throwing crazy dimes after watching this highlight reel, threading the needle throwing off his back foot, moving up in the pocket thigpen was really slanging that pigskin
