The Fiend shockingly attacks Alexa Bliss right before SmackDown cuts to black. What does this mean for the multi-time WWE Women's champion? We also discuss the return of Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville where they teased some serious hair vs hair match. On Raw, things were bit weird. On the bright side, we finally saw The Riott Squad telling a much-needed backstory of their breakup and reunion. However, Nia Jax is suspended in a bizarre segment and Asuka-Sasha Banks storyline takes a disappointing storyline turn.

Bray Wyatt’s whole narrative is ‘HURT/HEAL’ his feuds with different wrestlers tend to bring them back to the way they were before. He Heals heels like Daniel Bryan and turns them face again and he Hurts Faces and turns them back into Heels this was The Miz, Seth Rolllins. Bray is turning Alexa back heel.

Kit I felt like that was the Fiend’s way of possessing Alexa with Sister Abigail. About 2 years ago, Adam from WhatCulture said Alexa would be possessed by Sister Abigail and join Bray Wyatt

Kit I’m just basing it off what he’s done with other wrestlers. It’s kind of cool to think he can work through the women’s division as well. Makes it feel like the women are part of the overall storyline of Smackdown and not just a separate entity on their own. 😊

Mr. Stevia the Miz was face throughout most of 2019, he had his fued with Shane and Shinsuke as faces and then the Fiend started terrorising his family and everything. Then afterwards he lost he started to turn heel.

Mr. Stevia I wouldn’t say it’s just the mandible claw though. He mandibled other people who haven’t turned or changed. It think it’s generally just whoever he’s feuded with has gone back to the ‘way they are’. The crowd turned on Seth Rollins too but they’re still included in the narrative. The Miz has sort of always considered the third in the timeline who made the trend official, like going back to teaming with Morrison perfectly fits this narrative. Regardless it doesn’t really matter anyway 😊 I reckon Alexa will be changed mandible or no.

The Fiend’s attacks with his glove usually signifies him making somebody revert to their old ways, so usually switching heel/face alignments. People have been saying for weeks that Alexa is gonna turn on Nikki and I haven’t seen any reason why, but now this gives them a reason. I don’t think she’s gonna join The Fiend, probably turning on Nikki and maybe her being mean to Braun.

Well since Nia is technically suspended only on Raw, maybe she'll draft herself to Smackdown and form tag with Tamina again, since I think no one is built up properly yet to take away the Tag Team belts to Bayley and Banks cause the IIconics and Riott Squad have their own storyline and I don't think they're built well to take away the titles from Banks and Bayley.

From Asuka's promo I got that she was saying that Kairi is okay, she's not going to need a whole new arm but she's still not there. Bayley and Sasha who are the reason for Kairi getting injured and having to go away are still there and Asuka can't handle the fact that the people who hurt her best and really only friend are going along unpunished. The Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville feud sort of reminds me of the Sable and Jacqueline feud and the Sable and Luna feud. Jacqueline cut off Sable’s hair and added it to her own hair. Luna smeared lipstick and other things on Sable’s face when Sable was handcuffed to the turnbuckle. She also told Sable she was going to mess up her Estée Lauder face in a promo

I disagree that the titles are needed to drive storyline. The Sonya/Mandy storyline and this renewed interest in Alexa are examples of what can be done. I don’t disagree they can help, but they aren’t always needed. Torrie Wilson’s entire career is also a great example of that, especially her long-term storyline with Dawn Marie.

I can agree with that. I do also think that it's a disservice to the other women that all the titles are in 1 storyline. Like Bayley has been champion for a year (why?), the tag titles aren't even a factor still. It would be nice for new people to get title shots and title reigns. For example Liv, Ruby, Bianca, Dana, Naomi, Natalya.

@@RingTheBelle I mean...because it was about eating...uh..."peach." A woman's butt can look like a peach and... I don't know how graphic I can get in describing it. I figure it is probably obvious, but DS did ask. Honestly, I think part of the joke was Otis thought she was talking about food when Mandy was talking about sex.

Alexa/Bray reminded me horribly of Lita/Kane. Although what I was hoping for at the time was for Lita to start wearing kane-like ring gear and setting stuff on fire. Obviously that was 2004/5 when they were not going to do that. But now with Alexa... why not? She can do peppy kid-friendly, she can probably do weirdo in a mask. Get it done, revive her!
