Legendary Mickie James returns to WWE for her first match in over a year, and her match against another veteran Natalya was treated like it meant nothing. We discuss the shocking treatment of Mickie James' return.
On SmackDown, we saw Asuka win the tri-brand battle royal number one contendership match to book herself another championship match on WWE SummerSlam. What's our thought on this decision? And what is going on with Alexa Bliss and The Fiend? On RAW side, we saw Shayna Baszler turn face (or to tweener), which was the breath of fresh air we needed from her.

Mickie is up there with Trish and Lita. There should be no excuse as to why WWE doesn’t make a big deal about their Women Legends as they do with their Men Legends. It really pissed me off when Seth interrupted a return match for Mickie only to come back out later! It really wasn’t necessary. 🤦🏽‍♂️

Ya but, there treating Charlotte like she’s a legend already and that she’s the best wrestler today when all she gets are title opportunities literally handed to her. I can see Mickie James being a legend like Trish and Lita but, Charlotte are u crazy?! I know Charlotte has been out for weeks and this has nothing to down other human but, I’m just making a valid point. Mickie is getting treated the opposite as how Charlotte is getting treated. Mickie gets nothing and Charlotte gets everything for no reason. I don’t care if she’s a flair THATS the biggest problem there she’s a flair. Wtf cares. 100% agreed! They both do. I feel like if the are going to use Micki as to put someone over or as a jobber why Nattie tho? I don't think they should use either of them in that way. I'm just confused, Ik Micki loves wrestling and might not mind putting someone over as with Nattie. But put Micki against anybody else then. Her vs Sahsa would be a great match. I'm kinda liking where they are taking Natti with Lana, not going to lie im here for it. But put her against someone else to work. I'm sure the covid19 is a big reason. there aren't that many girls on raw or smackdown right now. So throw them over to nxt mix it up. let one of them get the NXT title. Not everyone who wrestled before 2010 is a legend but some of them are. The Rock's level of influence and or popularity is miles ahead of Mickie's but nonetheless Mickie is a legend because her level of influence or popularity is significantly high that the fact that just because she doesn't have that mainstream influence and or popularity is why she isn't treated like a proper legend is not fair to her

Y’all been fooled. Do you all remember when Mickie threw that celebration for Trish? Then Ashley comes out calls Mickie a psycho, gets the crowd to chant she’s a psycho and Mickie begins to burst in tears like actual tears!!??? Then just collapses crying when Trish silently agrees with Ashley for calling her a psycho???! Mickie then turns around and attacks Ashley lol and runs away crying and happy because Trish helped knock Ashley out accidentally Or when Mickie began to cry in tears after claiming jack sexually molested her and once security and Trish leave, Mickie still crying stops. Looks up. Laughs at her wicked evil deeds and performance sipping the tears laughing that she just made a scene. So when Mickie cried during the piggy James which wasn’t that bad and Mickie wasn’t even fat, Mickie begins crying real tears but meh didn’t affect me cause I knew that biatch was crazy!!

I personally think Mickie going to Raw was a bad decision anyways because 1.) SmackDowns women’s division is really lacking stars and Bayley has beaten everyone AND 2.) Raw has WAYY too many women: Bianca, Asuka, Liv and Ruby, IIconics, Nia, Shayna, Nattie + Lana and Charlotte when she returns. What’s CRAZY to me is that Mickie is about to be 41 years old, has a kid, just came back from injury and still wrestles like she did in 2008. The woman is still very much capable of putting on classics. I understand there’s younger talent now and she shouldn’t be first in line for a push but at the very least, she deserves respect. Trish or Lita would never get this type of treatment as a return. Mickie held the division down after they retired and this is what they do?

Man Jazz was one of a kind! Love Bianca though Jazz was straight thug like a female Brock Lesnar just comes in and wrecks the first victim who’s within proximity to make a point. This week of WWE sucked. Why have Asuka win for another match? Like there is so much talent, and you’re just gonna give Asuka more? I mean I don’t hate Asuka, but there are others that I want to see get a chance. And then to top it all off with Mickie being straight up disrespected. This is how I would book Summerslam, Bayley is suppose to defend first, but what if Bayley is late to Summerslam, so Sasha's match gets switch and she has to defend against Asuka first and has to go at it alone and ends up dropping the Raw Title to Asuka. When the time comes for Bayley to defend Sasha comes out with her, helps her defended the title and after the match turns on Bayley for not being there to help her retain the Raw title.

I guess I'm just gonna respectfully disagree. I'm glad Asuka's getting her shine. Fans complained for the longest (rightly so) back in 2018 and 2019 when she was being buried on Smackdown, losing matches to that Ellsworth guy and all that, yet now we're gonna say it's too much? She resurrected her WWE career with her heel turn and forming the Kabuki Warriors, and has impressed Vince enough to be the Head Woman now that Becky is gone for the foreseeable future. Asuka's not Charlotte, she's earned her spot and I'm glad she's the focus.

Watching this made me glad You lot have the same views as me about everything that happened lol 👏 So after i watched Smackdown and was very disappointed by the battle royal as no one really mixed in the match every just stuck with one person through it like naomi and lacey and there were so many wasted spots we could of seen so that put me in a bad mood, then wwe builds up mickies return and i get excited and then absolutely SHITS on her!!! Im still so annoyed and disappointed. Its completely killed any excitement i had for summerslam with the lack of investment in the womens Division.

Mickie James is the reason I’m into wrestling. To me she’s outperformed men and woman for years but never gets the credit for it and now it really shows. This is absolutely insane, I’m telling you wwe thinks they can make bank upsetting us with Naomi and Mickie but their too far up the own ass to realize their only hurting themselves. There’s no excuse to treat these woman like this.

i loved the fact that there were humiloation involved with lana taking videos of mickie while beinb beaten up. it just leads to something more in the future but i will agree on the fact that this is the era of women already where they should be respected in the ring. i didnt like when they made seth come out and just treat the whole match as an after thought. it's so stupid. wwe was more exciting before compared to now. and it's mickie's return, they shouldve made her won at least. it's so disrespectful.

For some reason I still don't believe it was Zelina.... Her back was facing the camera and you couldn't really tell what she was doing..... she was probably messing with something but I am almost 100% sure somebody else actually poisoned Montez

Honestly, I'm tired of Asuka, Bayley and Sasha ruling the Women's championships while the remaining women have nothing to fight for and are mostly forgotten anyway. I'm glad Asuka is getting the Raw title shot but why the SD too? Give it to Naomi, Dana or anyone else who ISN'T already in a match. Sonya vs Mandy will be fire but I kind of hope Sonya wins. I'm sick of the good guy getting the last laugh and Sonya has more potential and more to gain from this. I agree that Sonya would look badass bald but I would miss her Hair up and Square up thing (She could change it to Hair off and Square off or Hair down, you'll stay down) Also destroying Mandy and cutting her hair would make her way more despised and that'd be great heat
