Alexa Fischer: How to Get Out Of Your Own Way
If you need some motivation today, this video might be exactly what you need. (You can also listen to little Jessica for motivation every day! • Jessica's Daily Affirm... )
Whether you're just a little down, in your head and anxious, or dealing with depression - here are some tools you can use to be more active, decisive, and get unstuck. The temptation in society is to validate and validate and validate our problems - people love to complain. They love to gather "evidence" that they are right about whatever negative story they are telling. But you can instantly shift your energy, get out of your head, make new decisions, and take new actions, and it can shake things up. Maybe the right move is to get physical - activate your body. Do yoga, go for a run, or work with your hands. Get your endorphins flowing, get exercising, decluttering, or whatever you need to take your mind off of all your so-called "problems" and your perception of them. Pay attention to your feelings, but don't get locked into them - create your reality with new actions.
Let's face it, we all get stuck from time to time. Blocked energy, be it mental, emotional or physical, keeps us from being in the FLOW. It's a drag to have constant negative chatter in your head, or a case of nerves that leaves your stomach in a knot, or even a painful cramp in your leg that wakes you up in the middle of the night. Today I offer my two cents to help you become aware of stuck energy and how to get yourself back in the groove. Good vibes attract good times.
