Hakimi should have never been let go in the first, Real Madrid made a mistake with that years ago. Trent is good but he is no Dani Carvajal. Liverpool will know Real Madrid will be desperate to sign Trent so they will either resign him or overprice is price-tag to force Real Madrid to overpay. Reece James will be a good option but his contract is complicated & he's injury prone. Real Madrid might have to look into bringing S.Ramos back (less money & he's a free agent) & move Militao to RB. Apple pulled out of a billion dollar deal to cover the World Cup for clubs because they demanded Liverpool be added to the competition and FIFA refused so pulled out the TV contract because they didn’t believe Real Madrid had a real global fan base to increase subscription like Liverpool have. Also adidas next season will give Liverpool their biggest ever kit deal bigger than Real Madrid. When the corporations believe Liverpool are bigger club, maybe TAA should look at that.
