Just loved the collection. Some stunning dresses. This is Sarah Burton emerging out of the tortured soul of the late Alexander McQueen. She has done so well here. I loved the Red Slashed dress in particular. There is a very calmed elegance to the collection. I met Sarah once at the McQueen shop and she was just so lovely really lovely and sweet! Just Like Lee Alexander McQueen. May he rest in peace now. Thanks for spotting me! X
I would like to see more embroidery and prints as well as some of the theatricality that is McQueen. Very little in the way of show pieces in this collection. Quite a commercial collection in it's overall appearance.
That walk is because she actually has caved in knees so when she walks for a runway by moving the hips a certain way and trying to put one foot in front of the other that’s what you get. Too bad she’s gained weight 😕
Am still amazed how "design houses" can create entire collections named after deceased designers? How are they able to continue without the original designer's ideas, vision and creativity? Alexander McQueen, YSL, Dior, Chanel, Oscar de la Renta, Karl Lagerfeld, Halston, Kate Spade, etc. 🤔
Design houses continue after the death of the founder because the companies are corporations that by their very nature extend beyond the founder's life. The design houses need investors and partners to survive and grow. It's not like McQueen was knocking off the odd dress as a hobby.
Beautiful collection! Naomi, Maria Carla and all models are beautiful and all outfits are very cool and iconic! I loved so much the bags! The big metallic bag is beautiful! I think Alexander McQueen from Heaven and from Paradise loved very much this beautiful and iconic collection! I' m Italian young boy and I like so much Alexander McQueen! 🌠🌈😘👍😘
Everybody struggling with them shoes then Queen Naomi Campbell comes along...slaying the hell out of those shoes and look. This was an amazing collection by the way.
They way some of them walk is like its not legs they have but crutches and they will break any moment. Clearly they should not walk its a pity to look at them 😂
I don't know what's happened to Alexander McQueen. Why they stuck in the past and doing their shows in this sphere instead of grand shows how it used to be
Seems like all the major fashion houses are trying to outdo each other in the staging, set designs, and/or performances (not here), which may or may not have anything to do with the collection.
Why are there never any beautiful black American models in these shows. I love the representation of black women but lets mix it up. Showcase black American beauty the same way that you do black African Beauty. The same could be said for black Caribbean beauty. There needs to be a shift in how blackness is represented on the catwalk. The African models are stunning but they are not the only black beauty that is available in the world.
I think perhaps it might simply be that American and Caribbean women are on the more curvy-side compared to African women? I don't think it's an intentional disregard but the designers simply want the tall, slender look that you normally find on a runway.
A potentially wonderful collection ruined by execrable filming. Tell the camera operator to hold focus on each garment for at least 7 seconds without wobbling up or down. There is no room for arty photography. This is business and you’re losing it
Sarah has turned Mcqueen into something that doesn't even resemble the original brand anymore. By no means is it bad. Probably some of the most palpable and tasteful looks out of the whole season each season. But it's just not McQueen. It lacks the dark surreal majesty of his work. Bland, commercial, and without a soul. A new creative director is desperately needed. Julien Fournie, Dilara Findikoglu, Glenn Martens. Someone who could emulate his vision. Because sadly, despite being pretty and wearable, this is staler than week old toast.
Not a fan of this collection.. most of the designs look like space costumes and models were too thin to showcase the outfits. Except for the Queen Naomi....she was the center piece and her bodysuit was everything..
Just hideous. Not a single outfit that a woman could wear without appearing to be in costume. Alexander McQueen must be turning in his grave over this debacle.
Naomi strolls through with a "I don't have to be here" face!!!! the collection looks designed by the same people/person that designs for Pat McGrath's cosmetic. interesting concepts, 🤢 of the post apocalyptic looks, hate mid shin boots, and the bridal gown should frighten the betrothed. it screams reservations or you're going to marry me no matter what! any sane person would like back on a wedding day without the gown looking post Harvey, Ian, and Katrina all in a day. it was terrible.

You are no authority to dictate speech, words, nor thoughts. If you are a sheeple, baaah your way elsewhere as fashion is subjective to expression. If you get anything from Naomi, you make your own lane and own it. Begone!
Always loved AMcQ collections when he was designing. However times have changed and Sarah Burton has made this collection more accessible and relatable.
There are several phenomenal garments in this collection. Truly beautiful. The bodysuit on Naomi and of course Naomi herself, especially stunning. One of the very best runway looks she’s donned in recent years. The opening look and several other garments are genius.
Go check her almighty one-eye mansion and you know what is more unbelievable . You think THEY the designers all start to use her together again , why ?
One of the best collections of SB in the last 10 years… Many great looks, plenty of inspiration and we finally get back some of the spirit of Lee McQ. MORE DRAMA PLEASE!!!
