This particular battle has so much in between the lines that no one is really going to catch all of it without a lot of research. Two stand out things you might find amusing though, In the last round Ivan accused Catherine of sleeping with horses which is supposedly a rumor started by her enemies after shooting this down she finishes him off with a chess move which Alexander pointed out in the first round that Ivan died in the middle of a game of chess.

Pompey the Great was a member of the First Triumvirate along with Julius Caesar and Crassus. It all ended with a civil war. Pompey lost and fled to Egypt. He hoped to gain allies there, but the moment he stepped off the boat, he was assassinated. The Egyptians then cut off his head and sent it to Caesar as a gift. He was furious since he wanted to make peace with Pompey and work together again

Pompey the Great was unfortunately assassinated pretty early in his rule, which is why he's cut short here.

"Oblique attack tactics, ain't exactly straight". This line alone shows how dense this battle is, because of how much non-general knowledge can easily be overlooked. Frederick the Great led Prussia (A German kingdom that existed before and would later lead the creation of Germany) during the Seven Years War against Austria, Russia, Spain, and France. This was the era in which required musket-armed armies to face each other in coordinated rank and file rows of soldiers. Frederick II was a military genius who favored the "Oblique order of battle" wherein one concentrates the strength of their army on one flank. While using the rest of the line to hold the enemy in place, the strong end turns 90 degrees and attacks the enemy flank, destroying them. Literally not straight. The "ain't exactly straight" line also alludes to the fact that Frederick was gay, famously gay. The man built a pleasure palace adorned with ripped naked dudes as columns and banned women from the building.

+Pabs Sanchez LOL about Ivan pretending he was giving up and admitting defeat. He did pull something along that lines lol. See he wrote to his people telling them that he was renouncing the throne and leaving Russia because his Boyers (SP) or nobles were stealing and he was not being allowed to punish them, and he did leave. However he did it knowing exactly what would happen, he knew the people would beg him to return and they did stating "sheep need a shepherd, you can do what you want". He then returned and started going about punishing his enemies.
