I had the same problem with 'We no speak Americano', even went as far as to ask people on RU-vid. In the end, I remembered the word 'Americano' (after such a long time that it drove me crazy) and found it
This song is innocent "Move like a freak" clearly refers to crazy dancing "mmmh yea" refers to a man really enjoying the rythm of the song "My dirty boy" clearly means the male is covered in dirt and needs to be washed in a shower "Play with me" the female clearly is bored and wants to play an innocent game of Rock, paper, scissors yall are the dirty ones for thinking everything is some kind of dirty innuendo! (do NOT take this comment seriously)
Welcome back to another episode of ,,Songs that seemed innocent when you were younger and then you came back in a few years to listen to them again and realized how your innocence is gone and you can never get it back again"
40% Childhood memories 30% The lyrics are dirty 20% 2019?! 8% Normal comment's 1.5% Everyone saying I can't do percentages which is true- 0.5% What I am doing
Me and my friend casually working at my little brother’s school dance: This song: *comes on* The fourth graders: *start dancing like crazy and yelling the lyrics* My friend and I: 😬
@Dkkskskskkanshdkao Gacha ._. No, it still works. If this song came out in 2011 and they had not had their birthday yet, they would be 7. Then if you add 8 years onto 7 you get 15, not 14. So if they are 15, they may have had their birthday this year which takes them up to 16 years old. Before you try and call someone out, please check your maths :)
Things I love about this song I just found: 1) Her timbre 2) The color of the chorus 3) The saxophone 4) The harmony between synths, effects, and instruments
Ugh, I used to listen to this all the time with my dad when I was little, and I tried to show it to my friends and they said the song was no good. Now, here we are, years later, and EVERYONE'S listening to it
When everyone is finally realizing the song is sexual. 11 year old me: I know what it means but Imma act like I don't know. BRINGS ME UP, BRINGS ME DOWN! Parents: looks at me weirdly but just plays it off as me not knowing what the lyrics mean 11 year old me: :)))))))))) Me today: I was one bad kid 😂😂
Everyone: Talking about their families seeing them scaried because they were singing these songs when they were kids. My family, who doesn't understand english: Oh, these songs sound good! :D Me today: Mmm... I think I'm not going to say anything... .________.
***** Of course it depends on how you look at it. We are saying that 90% of songs back then had thought and dept in them. But what we mean is now they don't even try. This song actually makes you wanna dance and is super catchy, but now these days it's just some shitty beat and talking about sex in a more graphic way. Song were more respectful and realistic back then unlike now.
I don't know why but this song really makes me feel much better when I listen to it. It's weird, it's like it brings me back to a time where things were so much simpler, nicer and enjoyable. Thing is, until a few days ago I didn't even listen to this song before, so why does it make me feel so nostalgic? Not like I spent my childhood listening to it or anything. The part that gets me is that the song in of itself isn't anything special. I mean yeah it's nice to listen to but is it really anything extraordinary? No. But still it makes me feel stuff man. And that's what a song should do.
I literally sung this when I was on the radio when I was with my parents 😬 my mum used to give my mad looks and I said “what I’m jamming to this WONDERFUL song” I even sung the “hey se*y boy bit , I WAS 9
11 year old me: ohh ohh ohh errmm yeahh errm yeah My mom: 😶 My dad:😂 20 year old me now: ohh😐 Also 20 year old me now: ohh ohh ohh ermm yeah ermm yeah My boyfriend: ohh ohh ohh ermm yeah ermm yeah
Everyone talking about how they sang this song when they were younger and didn't know what it meant, or how this song brought back some form of childhood memory, while me over here just discovering this song-
