I am pretty sure ..he was the Husband of the pianist NINA SVETLANOVA...who was the concert pianist and piano partner of many great russian singers...like Obraztsova...etc...she also was the pupil of the pianist playing...having also been in the class of NEUHAUS..she told me and her other students long ago..when she had become a USA citizen in NYC...and became a master teacher in Manhattan school and Mannes . she was sooo kind, a GREAT teacher and mentor , and a superb pianist herself...with the same tone as the pianist playing...always rich, deepnever shallow or "light" and big sound...this all reminds of those years long ago...THANK YOU for sharing!!!

Majestic concerto, thank you for posting. Nasedkin plays well; it´s probably the orchestra or maybe the conductor that make this rendition sound a bit weird for my ears. For instance, the flute at the beginning is, for the lack of a better word, terrible. To anyone interested in hearing a different rendition, my personal favorite is the Ashkenazy | Maazel | LPO.

Beginning similar to Heinrich Neuhaus, but then overall too sedate around 18: forward, Neuhaus builds up a moving intensity as he moves on from here. Thanks for posting.
