The stones that missed and she had to reach to put back in was so powerful they show that stabbing is not easy and surely at some point he missed her or struggled to get the knife in. The grief this family has gone through was undeserved and their humility is admirable.
I thought same thing. With the slight shaking of nerves she threw the stone at the attacker and missing the glass was more dramatization adding a bigger impact.

When someone innocent is taken away in such a way it doesn't only snuff out that life, it sends out a tsunami that rips through the loved ones left behind. My prayer are with you all.
The most important moment of this that I found is that looking in on this : This isn’t the first time , fourth time , or 20th time thats she’s dropped those stones into that jar. She practiced this. Over and over. Each time thinking about what he did to her sister. I have no doubt that this young lady did this over and over , to practice this without tears. It had to be so incredibly powerful to finally be able to say what you would want to say to someone who caused you such trauma and pain.

This girl lives inside her head. You can tell that she thought up this statement long before she put it on paper. Her way with words is impactful and deep. Almost poetic. She did so well and it was impossible to choke back tears because I FELT her in this moment
The fact that she had the forethought and took on the burden of learning all the intricacies of the case so the family could ask her instead of having to look it up speaks of such love ❤
In cases like this one,visual demonstrations should be done the EXACT way she did to let you hear and FEEL what the victim endured..this is HEARTBREAKING..it makes you sick to your stomach 💔

Powerful testimony from this young woman. Her parents should not be questioning their actions and decisions as parents. Aiden’s parents should be the ones racked with guilt and questioning themselves as parents especially the mother. I’ve heard people making excuses for her saying she was protecting her son and I think if she would have had more empathy, for one she would have passed that trait on to Aiden, Two she would have felt for Tristan’s family and wanted to end their suffering in not knowing what happened to that little girl.

As dramatic as this may be..it really does put in perspective how crazy it is for a person to be stabbed that many times. As a a person with interest in true crime when I hear about a case where a victim suffers a large amount of stab Wounds I try to mimic the movements it takes to inflict the number of wounds just to better grasp the idea of savagery it would take in order to inflict the wounds. So this is another great way to demonstrate that so a jury can understand and grasp it better. So good for her for thinking of this idea. I think this small demonstration would be very important

It represents how long it took. Look how long it took to put 114 stones in to that jar. That's how long Trystan suffered from the pain of each stab. It's beyond horrific. He is a monster!
This is heartbreaking. Sociopaths cannot be reasoned with he’s probably reliving the moment in splendor, and she’s talking right now. I hope someday she can find her peace.
She's a living proof of the good job her parents did. Praying for them to find peace and forgiveness. They must not let this monster rule the rest of their lives. With forgiveness, they would be able to stab his cruelty and cut his power over them.

Suppressed anger will harm your body and mind and can hinder forgiveness. Forgiveness doesn't mean restoration. When a relationship is harmed, it's the right of the offended to decide if they wanted to keep contact. You don't need to "prove that you forgave" by embracing the offender. I’m also the second born of 4 girls, the youngest of whom passed away in 2019. There are really no words to describe what it’s like to lose a baby sister. I thank God mine wasn’t mindlessly stabbed to death - she passed in her sleep - but nonetheless, every. single. word. that Alexis spoke resonated so powerfully and completely broke my heart, all over again. I hope family and friends can find healing and peace in knowing that Tristyn was absolutely beautiful and wonderful as a human being, and I think Inspiring to all the people who can now see her+ who she was as a person- I think with this case being so horrible and so widely covered in the news- I think people will see who she was even in just briefly viewing one of the photographs news channels are showing- I think in all the tragedy of this case I think what stands out more than the crime alone is who she was. The crime is obviously incredibly shocking so naturally news channels will highlight the nature of the crime- but I think after processing and kind of analyzing this case , people everywhere will find more personal strength and try to live life with more peace and respect -and kindness in honor of Tristyns life. Hopefully when people see her and remember her life they will continue living with more devotion to living a good life. Rest in peace-

Jesus. I also clipped my daughter’s hair prior to cremation. It never occurred to me what it would be like if there were blood in it. I often think of all the ways I am so lucky. One way is that she lived a good 35 years. Another way is that she didn’t suffer violence. This was hard to watch, hard to hear. My heart goes out to all of us who have lost a child.

I understand the use of the stones. But for the person doing the actual st*bb***. It doesn't show how long it actually took to make all the s*a**ing injuries. As I'm sure it he may have had to spend some time in-between for rest.
