“23 is my year to show out! 4 years in the game im all they talk about! My name is Alexis for those who don’t know! Sit back and watch as I give you a show! Hard work, dedication that’s what I’m about! BEEN HERE SINCE DAY 1! That’s it, im out 🤭✌🏼” is what i got from hearing this. She is absolutely amazing🫶🏼
@Katie_110They’re literally wearing sashes that say “Senior 2023” so I’m pretty sure ur right but those are the words since they were the class of 2023, it was prob senior night
@Katie_110yes it was december 1st when this was posted but that’s still the school year august22-may23 so those are the seniors of 2023(why their sashes say senior 23)
For those who don't know, this is STOMP Cheerleading. The uniforms and style of Cheer is very different from early traditional high school cheerleading. This style of cheerleading originated in HBCU's so there is lots of African American influence! It is a more STEP involved style and has different types of chants!!
She says “ 23 is my year to show out, 4 years in the game I’m all they talk about, my name is Alexis for those who don’t know, sit back and watch as I give u a show, hard work dedication that’s what I’m about, BEEN HERE SINCE DAY ONE! That’s it, I’m out”
Look at how supportive that group of young ladies are to each other. A cheering squad lifting each other up and helping one of their squad get a spotlight shined on her. Good job ladies.
That’s the whole point in cheerleading. It would kind of be defeating the purpose to have unsupportive cheerleaders. Is that even a thing? I’ve cheered for three different schools and did the jr roar 2004 with the Roar nfl cheerleaders. Growing up cheer was my life.
@@backwoodsbarbieken800my school has very unsupportive cheerleaders who make fun of other cheerleaders on the team and like have the whole team dress in the uniform and leave a couple out 🫤
@iRepliedCuzImTriggeredyour a of garbage for saying that, she’s deaf or hard or hearing what is wrong with you and other people these days everyone always have to be mean just say something nice for a god dam change and btw yes am calling you garbage you don’t deserve my kindness because you spread hate, if you would have been respectful or said something nice that’s when am nice
“23 is my year to show out 4 years in the game I’m all they talk about My name is Alexis for those who don’t know Sit back and watch as I give you a show Hardwork, dedication that’s what I’m about BEEN HERE SINCE DAY ONE! That’s it, I’m out.”
For those of you saying she's deaf She's not, it's a type of cheer called stomp and shake. Typically your voice is supposed to sound deeper and like that❤️❤️
@@ledtoobright2628 Im not sure what the backstory to this girl is, but its pretty clear she has some kind of disability where that may be her just being mute/deaf or maybe another kind of condition. its cool they gave her an opportunity like that even tho others will still judge her. lets just be glad SHE felt confident and enjoyed herself:)
The same girl that said C'mom, smiled when she said for 'those who don't know' she gave her sass when she finished and completely hyped her at the end, LIKE GIRL YOU DID THAT!!!!
the girls look so shady yet so supportive at the same time LOLL (edit: since yall are sensitive and think I'm being racist, I'm black. And I never said they looked shady BECAUSE they're black. Race has nun to do with this. So, this was a joke which I'm so confused on why I have to even say that 😐)
As a person who grew up in dance, these girls work hard in practice, working out in the feilds/dance rooms, some go on dieting programs....for some parent to force the school to let their special needs child who don't even have to work for it, get a whole solo when girls who been on the team for yrs might not even get 1. It's not shady looks but annoyed looks 😒...for making them do community service without them knowing.
@@potatocornsplease2383they mean by the way she’s saying its when you sniffle its hard to talk so it sounds like a lot of gibberish but it rlly sounds like yall have never tried to cry and talk ngl
@@k.nichelle4875No she’s going to an HBCU because you can see the cheer team is majority black woman. Thats why they said that. Instead of assuming something ask first 😂
What she says: 23 is my year to show out 4 years in the game and I’m ALL they talk about💅 My name is ALEXIS for those who don’t know Sit back and watch as I give you a show Hard work and dedication that’s what I’m about🥶 Been here since day one☝️ That’s it I’m out💅✨❤️
Loved this vid, truth is it brought tears to my eyes! Her enthusiasm is absolutely amazing and electrifying! I actually understood her every wotd after listening a few times.."my name is Alexi for those who dont know (killed it) I worked hard to give you a show""! Thanks ladies for your awesome support of Alexi. All of you deserve big ups and much credit for this video!❤ 👏🏿👏🏿
@@Mythical_Artsno she isnt, ive seen the page for the cheer team at their school. they all do this its the style they cheer in. the other girls are just better at it than her
@@hkty2kkkbro all they said was god bless her, do you have something against that. Also there is nothing wrong with her speaking it’s a form of it when they step like that, read the other comments for that information
How did she randomly say “Don’t know” so good 😭😭 Crud 300 likes- tysm 866 likes?! What the- TYSM 932 likes??!?? I’m not one of the “MOM IM FAMOUS” ppl but 1K LIKES!?! TYSM
@@ShilohXE She's not deaf. She sounds that way because she is stomping and moving her feet while making her voice deeper. You can tell that is not how she normally sounds when she says "who don't know," "give you a show," and "that's it, I'm out."
Don’t feel bad. There’s nothing physically wrong with this girl. She’s intentionally sounding like this. It’s apparently a form of like a bass voice cheering supposed to help save their voice or something from what I gather.!I think it’s disgustingly disrespectful to those with disabilities and speech impediments and still found that comment comical in relation to this video.
The way she casually just walked back into line shows that she is not self centered and there for attention. She is there for the enjoyment. And she ate that up like a turkey on thanksgiving. 💋
Huh why are you happy for that, that’s part of the routine 😭 each cheerleader gets out of the line to introduce themselves. She did a great job yes but wtf
“23 is my year to show out, 4 years in the game and all they talk about, my name is Alexis for those who don’t know, so sit back and watch as I give you a show, hard work, dedication is what I’m about. (Been here since day)one That’s it, I’m out”
if you need to hear this your pretty your not too fat your not too skinny your hair is pretty or lack of your eyelashes are pretty or lack of your eyebrows are pretty or lack of your eyes are beautiful your body is perfect your not too short your not to tall your not overweight your not too underweight i’m proud of you for TRYING to eat i’m proud of you for TRYING to get ready i’m proud of you for TRYING to get up your not stupid your not dumb your smart love you❤❤ have a good day!!❤❤❤ (like this up?:D)
I just found out that she's deaf and it honestly makes me so happy to know that she is using her voice I'm very glad that her peers know how to treat her with respect and support her and honestly it just goes to show that people with differences aren't all that different and that having differences is only an issue when others make it an issue and I'm very glad that these girls support their friend and Let Her Shine without making it difficult for her to do so comfortably what beautiful people and I just love this
She killed that entire routine🔥🔥🔥 and I know she had to to come correct and work for her spot on the squad look at the black queens in the back cheering her on 🔥🔥🔥🔥
"23 is my year to show out 4 years in the game I'm all they talk abt, My name is Alexis for those who don't know, sit back and watch as I give u a show, hardwork, dedication is what I'm about, BEEN HERE SINCE DAY ONE!!! That's it, I'm out ❤️😎" *This is for those who don't know but she is a deaf cheerleader*
aww ty, I use subtitles for everything in the first place and I love it when people write things in the comments when the original video is harder to understand
Everyone is saying she’s deaf but how can I beleive u without proof? And don’t say it’s because of her voice because there’s this kind of voice cheerleaders use I think it’s called stomp voice or something I forgot what it’s caleld This isn’t meant to be a rude comment I just want to know where u heard she’s deaf because i just want proofs. I’m jsut wondering
Omg! I am so glad that they have finally started cheerleading for people with intellectual and other disabilitiies. I am SO PROUD OF THESE CHEERLEADERS!!!!!! 😢
