@@stevew.7938 , Don't know if you got the tv reference I was alluding to- when her TV son Jerry Seinfeld stole a marble rye from a neighbor in one of the episodes.
The shows are now cut-up and they have removed scenes and even some plot moments in the syndicated versions that are out now and play on cable. You are missing up to 5 minutes in a 24-minute show. 30-minute episodes shows usually had slots for 6 minutes of commercials. So ALF uncut should be 24 Minutes, not the ones that you are seeing missing so much of the episode! Don't buy the DVD's until they put back in what is missing! They were cut up so reruns broadcast on TV could add more commercials. When the DVD's were released they used the Syndicated versions that had removed multiple scenes/plot elements in every single episode! We need these shows as they were shown on TV not cut up!!
I agree! But, there is great news! Shout Factory has gotten the distribution rights to "ALF", "ALF: The Animated Series", "ALF Tales", and the TV movie "Project ALF", and has entered a partnership with Alien Productions to make new "ALF" content, so, hopefully, we will be getting the original "ALF" series uncut on DVD and, if we're lucky, on Blu-ray!
