Alfa 146 ti ignition light off and code key light on FIX

NOTE: REMOVE BATTERY TERMINAL BEFORE REMOVING THE FUSE PINS
I've managed to fix the problem with my 146ti where the ignition light is off and the key code light is on.
It seems that the slow blow fuse behind the slow blow fuse box was having bad contact.
Also opening the fuse pins i needed to use 2 hands not fingers..
I'm also wondering why in earth fingers came onto my tongue.
It worked flawlessly after cleaning the contact pins and new fuse..
Sorry no video on the car starting..

Tanks !! even in 146 boxer , The box is a litle bit diferent but have a 20A fuse and get dirty and The issue is the same, light of ingnition off and code Key Yellow on, tanks a lot because i even think The problem was The imnobolizer .

Glad it helped. as fuse gets old the oxidization will build up

Check all the fuse in engine bay. Clean it with contact cleaner on the fuse and the socket. And put it back.. if it's blown. Replace it.. boxer wiring is different than my 146ti.

Hi. I have alfa 147 1.6 ts with gas... My body computer burned very badly... Do know what can be the problem. I got used body comp and ecu and when i am trying to start the car body comp is geting realy heated... It wont start because i dont have key chip and imobilazer for "new" used ecu (i will get it).. I just cant understand why body comp is geting heated right away... Thank you for your answer!

Sorry this I'm not very sure. Maybe the heat is actually normal or if its too hot then the unit you got could be also defective.

Do ecu diagnostic and see for any error and check on the sensor involved or component.

I have a problem with the immobilizer on ly 147 1.9 black line it does not want to start and diagnostic shows the relay functioning opérationnel a low tension ⚡ Relai de fonctionnement optionnelle inférieur au seuil maximale Sir can you please give me a little more information where that relay exist

@@abdelwahedromadi867 I'm not sure for 147 as 147 have newer engine and layout. Need to check service manual and try to identify.

Also if possible you might do relay test from your tester and if the relay click then that's your relay. These is depending on what diagnostic software you have. Not all kind of relay can do this test.

Also try to hear if the fuel pump is priming from the back when you on the car 1st time in that day.. just to make sure fuel is pumped into engine.
