Replacement of the windowmechanism of my 2003 Alfa Romeo 147, it had to be done anyway, so why not film it and see if I can help someone else by posting it to youtube.
I'm not the most skilled mechanic, but in the end I got the job done without having to pay a garage to do it for me :-)
No sound in the video, I wasn't talking much anyway

Many thanks for this. Just changed my 2005 147's driver door regulator following your video. As it turned out, the glass plastic clip was broken and the front end of the glass was out of its rail. Probably saved me £200... so thanks again!

Wow thanks for posting this. My 147 has had two broken regulators over six years because of what I think is friction in the track when the window is a third of the way up. Very frustrating but now I'll fix it myself rather than getting gouged by the mechanic. Cheers!

Did it yesterday. It's not a particularly hard job, but it can be a bit frustrating and fiddly. I expect you would have done yours by now.

@@doveronefoxtrot4417 I did indeed, was a couple of hours work and pretty easy. Most difficult bit is trying not to damage any of the plastics as you remove and refit!

Super vidéo. Merci bcp.. Petite astuce pour les francophones, lorsque vous enlevez le cache. Il y a une vis cachée à l'arrière de la télécommande ⚠️. Il faut soulèver le cache pour le faire sortir de son socle au dessus. Ensuite si vous avez la vitre bloqué en position basse ou haute. Il est très difficile de retirer le tétine de la vitre. Il faut donc couper le câble au coupe câble ou avec une grosse pince coupante (N'OUBLIEZ PAS DE SCOTCHER LA VITRE POUR LA MAINTENIR ⚠️). Et installer le nouvel équipement.

sur ma gt la vitre ne descend plus on m'a dit que c'était la fiche qui déconnait peut on accéder a cette fiche sans démonter le moteur a votre avis c'est la fiche sous le boitier télécommande ou celle vers le moteur sois disant que ce probleme est connu merci de votre réponse

Super video! Alleen 1 vraagje. Het schroefje in de handgreep wat is dat? Zie dat je daar een andere schroevendraaier voor gebruikt?

Ik dacht een flinke Torx maat, iets van T27 of T30. Het is een bitje uit m’n kleine bit set, dus groter dan T30 zal die schroef niet zijn.

Mijn raam mechanisme van mijn GT is kapot of het kan ook de electronica zijn .Het raam gaat een 1 cm om laag met een hoop gekraak weer om hoog ik weet niet of dit bij jouw ook het geval was

Hi Jurgen, bij mij was ooit de kabel gebroken en die had ik tijdelijk gefixed door met een ring de trek-kabel op z’n plaats te schroeven in het kunststof verbindingsblok maar die ring schoof langs de geleider en maakte een enorm kabaal, daarom heb ik het hele mechaniek vervangen. Wat jij beschrijft klinkt alsof het glas niet goed in de geleiderails zit. De enige manier om dit te checken is door de deurbekleding eraf te halen en alles te controleren tov de andere kant. It's not clear from the video and I can't remember it, but I googled ' 2003 alfa 147 glass' and judging from the results I don't think there is a rubber grommet present.

There *should* be one, yes. Mine was mashed to a pulp and wasn't re-usable. Finding the original part seems difficult (and you don't get one with the replacement motor). I could only find a small shop in Italy with them, which was charging way too much for postage. In the end I just used some normal rubber washers of various sizes. You could also 3d print a washer with a flexible filament, which may work.
