My current 156 SW Veloce is very rare. It's in Azzurro Gabbiano blue with a 2.0 JTS engine. In SW variant in that colour, according AROC, there's only 2 left in the UK. The other is in Ireland, mine is the only one left on mainland UK. Faster than a 2.0 TS but not as saucy as a 3.2. I currently own a Alfa GT 3.2, which is an animal. Great fun.
Lovely Alfa and another proof that if you take proper care of them - as the previous owner did - they will last a long long time. Great video guys! Cheers!
For me 156 SW GTA Is better because looks awsome and the structure is stiffer, more practical and weighs the same as the sedan. Good job maybe some day my will be looks good as your 😜💪👍👏💯❤
I'm sat here drooling over that car. I had a 2010 159 ti sportwagon for nearly 5 years and it was the most smiles per mile car that I have ever owned. I can only imagine how much better the 156 is.
It’s the car that can do everything: from moving a fridge to driving on track to doing the daily commute. I’ve had mine for over 9 years now and still marvel at how practical it is for such a sporty car. Recently I helped my sister move house. Folding the rear seats was like 2 seconds and then the boxes neatly fit into the space like it was made for it! What’s also genius yet no so obvious: the boot door extends into the roof, so you have a big, accessible opening, makes for easy packing. Really like how you restored this example. A downside of a 156 (especially the GTA) can be big maintenance bills, but looks like you sorted that for the near future, so the new owner must be a happy man (or woman)!
Awesome car. I think it looks better than the saloon version and i think it looks better than a GTV. I would like to own one in the near future. For now I an happy with my red 156 2.5 V6 24v. Again a great video, big fan of the channel and looking forward to the next one
The 156 is a cool car! I had a 156 2.4 jtd Turismo in blue… absolutely loved that car and out of all the cars I have owned that’s the one my kids remember the most. It seemed quick at the time and the engine sounded good for diesel!
147 gta looks more aggressive but the 156 gta has a nicer interior. I know you like a wizard but I think there over rated I had one one my 147 gta n couldn’t wait to take it off but that’s just me. Your SW does look awesome 🖤
As a 147 owner I can't say the Sportwagon looks better but it is the coolest estate bar none. I was going to say 150k, however it's a beaut at 180. I'm sure you could get the gearknob refurbed and it would probably look much better than any used one.
How odd, I saw a black GTA sportswagon parked in south London a few days ago, I had a slow drive by, i forgot about them. I'll leave a note on the window next time i pass it
I've only owned Sportwagons of the 156s, not the GTA. Always preferred estate version even though the 156 is a pretty model regardless of what version it is. My current SW owned for 7 years and covered 120k.
I wish I had the brain ,knowledge ,money and talent ,to be a worthy owner of a such Gem of a car .I was struck with the Alfa Romeo virus before 20 and hasn’t recovered since but forced to be an inactive because of the lack of above mentioned
Someone’s put the wrong springs on the back of that! They look like the sedan springs. The part numbers are very close if I remember, an easy mistake when ordering but only comes to light when fitted.
