Great video but I believe it is much easier if you just completely disconnect the windshield wiper to avoid the hassle of moving the hood around it

I always wanted to know this,but you should have pressure washed off the dust and dirt before replacing the hood. That's what I will do when I get my 4C. Thanks for the video.

Nice video and well done. If done right you can eliminate replacing the hood seal although dealerships always replace it to eliminate chance of leaks.

😂 I can't afford a 4C but I always wondered why it didn't have a hood other than the actual hood for the engine. Until I can't afford one I better start looking for an Abarth😅

Thanks for the cool video. I always wonder what was under the hood. My family car in the 1980s was an Alfetta 4 door sedan. My childhood was basically spent at our mechanic's shop because the car was so unreliable. As an adult, I only drive Alfas in Italy, either through a rental company or one of my cousin's cars. I have neither the patience nor the good humor to own one in the States as much as I love the brand.

You have to ask yourself why the radiator is enclosed? Thanks for the video and weird noises, now I know I only have to pull the one windshield washer hose to remove the hood. May as well top off the brake fluid while you're in there huh? I'm really looking forward to working on my 4C, they should have called this car the Quirk. Everything including a simple air filter change is a pain in the ass on this car but you just have to love it anyway.

Is there any reason why you did not disconnect all the windshield wipers? To me it seems the easiest way to proceed. Thanks in advance

Do any of you get water get in to the upper mounting threaded posts like I did? I'm talking the areas where the hood mounts next to windshield cowl. Two of mine got completely rusted and seized. Those posts are glued to the chassis and to my knowledge cant be purchased. Im going to have to custom fab mines up.

So let me known if I'm correct, have you to do all this sequence every time you need to change the brake fluid or the wiper liquid?

Thanks for the video. Got some work done and the washer fluid hose wasn’t reconnected. Your video showed me where to look for the hose and I was able to reconnect without removing the bonnet.
