good job, easier than replacing the rubber. They changed the design from 2014 onwards to a larger rubber seal. Giulietta is a very reliable car, the early ones just had the issue with the wiring loom at the boot but was straight forward to repair or get repaired relatively speaking.

I love your job. All my life I liked opening things, inspecting and trying to fix them. quite successfully, by the way. I should have become a mechanic and not a veterinarian. It would have been better for me, without a doubt. great video again

@@arcgarage It may be true, possibly in a few years, cars will be only for the rich. Mechanics are now limited to changing a complete part, the bigger the better. The cost of a repair or even maintenance in an "official" workshop is not easily assumed. Bad times in Europe for the average citizen. In Spain, there is no longer a middle class: either you are poor (even working 10 hours a day) or you "act as if you work" in the administration or in politics (neighborhood, city, province, autonomous community, county council, state or Europe). . These have credit and money to buy a new car and change it every three years or so. He who pays this does not make it to the twentieth of the month. Something has to change or something can happen....

It's great to see old school techniques like this used in 2023. Watch 95% of RU-vid car repair channels and it's main dealer style approach with always replacing big and expensive components before trying to fix the underlying issue. I have this same problem on a Giulietta but due to winter I've not had a chance to dig into it much. The water that accumulates in the recess at 1:08 -where does that water end up? Is it a direct path inside the boot or does it go behind the bumper cover and out of the boot instead? Thanks.

Morao sam mjenjač staviti u rikverc i tamam kad brisač dođe do kraja, prebacim u ler. Tad mi brisač stane skroz lijevo ili desno hahah. Hvala ti mnogo, pokušati ću i ja samo da silikonom zaljepim isto mjesto. Lijep pozdrav 😊

Hi there, I drilled out those three rivets, removed the drive and cleaned mechanizm and the gasket. It works properly now but i don't have an idea how to reattach drive back on the door. Any ideas?

Nice. I have few issues with my wiper as well but since yesterday stop lights I think the wires a cut I al gonna check that. But the rear defrost are not working either. Do you have some recommendations ?

Sometimes I get water in the boot hatch that opens upwards. Any suggestions for fixing this? Seal fail under the rear windscreen?

@@arcgarage it resolved by its self, it was because of the battery, the battery was removed from the car for 2 days and when i put it back i got the error for 1 day. Thanks for your reply !

Probably wiring, check the boor wiring loom, but it could also be something else like motor, or even bcm

Now i see why you bought an alfa romeo giulietta: it’s the perfect car for a content creator like you. With Giulietta and all it’s flaws you’ll never get out of contents. This is the reason why i sold mine. Great job as always, greetings from italy!

Thanks man, the truth is that this is what owning any modern used car looks like, whether it's Alfa, Mercedes, Audi, etc. they all come with their own set of problems.
