Welcome to the ARC Garage channel. It is an online spot for all Alfa Romeo owners where we work on a variety of different models. You can see numerous tutorials on how to solve basic, as well as more complicated issues on cars of this famous Italian brand.
Besides that, we also do videos regarding other interesting things, hidden features, and generally less known functions that not many Alfa Romeo owners know about. We take pride in our videos and tutorials and we do them for two main reasons among many. The first one is out of love for Alfa Romeo cars. And the seconds one is to help all of the fellow Alfa Romeo owners.
However, we do not shy away from other car brands. Friends in trouble bring us their problematic cars for a quick fix as well. Check out all of our videos, we're sure you'll find them useful. If you like the channel support us by subscribing, and by sharing our content with other car enthusiasts.
nice tutorials as always BUT: come on man, we know that the environment is pretty fucked up already, but at least don't contribute to make it worse with that spray straight in the soil.
Hello, I wanna ask you something. As shown in the video at 0:30 your hindge is broken. So is mine, however my handle also snapped at the back (that black plastic thing- half of it is in the car, the other half in the handle). Will I be able to glue this plastic together and fit a new hindge, or just replace the whole handle somehow?
@@arcgarage I thought so,thanks for the tutorial, great content. One more thing- only the key cartrige is left on the door, will this be a problem, or the job will remain the same in your opinion?
Would flushing the heater matrix resolve cold air also. My Guilietta doesn't have hot or cold air. In desperation, I cable tied the swirl flaps open just so air could get into the cabin and still nothing. So thinking heater matrix but could be other issues too.
It could, if you manage to clean it out it could solve your issue. Just make sure that before that you test all of the other components (flaps, and motors)
For me, finding and pulling the bulb and socket out of the housing was the easy part, but 20 years of Aussie sun made the plastic shrink and harden so much that the bulb itself could only be removed after smashing the glass and pulling apart the metal base with pliers.
Can anyone tell me if there is something wrong with my alfa or if this is standard? Every time I turn the engine off, the air conditioning and ventilation settings reset. Everything is always on maximum heat. Has anyone had this problem?
Hvala!
Thanks. My rear door automatic locking started making some noises and now it stopped unlocking with the rest of the doors, what do you think of it is possible to fix it myself or is it buried deep in the door, Any experience with it?
Looking at how complicated it is I'd rather save my money for a facelift with built in infotanment, this is really challenging. But of course good job, at least I know how to do it. But overall, this radio doesn't fit interior at all.
Thanks, I would disagree that it doesn't fit. I was thinking about installing the factory one, but you have to keep in mind that they are outdated. This unit with camera is very good
Thanks for sharing. In the gt, do you remove the same way for the rear badge? I used the chinese one for the front and you're right it only lasted less then a year. Better to clear coat. The original emblem is crazy expensive. Tips like that helps alot
Hey, man. Very cool videos, thanks for making them. I also have a Giulietta and maybe you can help me with a piece of advice. I'm missing the top chrome line from my front grille and I cannot find it anywhere. Any ideas how can I fix this?
I've used those cheap badges, the colours will fade in 6 months. Genuine badges are more expensive but they last, and have a 3M adhesive for good fixing.
Good video again. Unfortunately the quality of those logos is not very good, I have to replace them every few months, because the colors are damaged immediately, due to heat and water.
@@arcgarage I have LPG Landi Renzo factory installed. After 130000 km had to replace injectors. Had to fix Aircon recycle actuator. For the rest the car runs beautifully. Oil change every 12 to 15 k km. Nice to drive.
It's a shame they put such a tiny and stingy cluster display for Giulietta's sold outside Italy! The "full" version, apart being a bigger, matrix display, shows a lot more informations. I'm pretty sure you can swap it on your car with a simple body proxy alignment
I'm fairly sure this is dependent on the specification/trim level of the car and not where it was sold. Mine's Austrian and I have the updated cluster.
I replaced the broken part by doing all the steps as you said, the motor works, but when I calibrate it gives error 02, hot air does not blow again, what is your advice?
