@@raptor2126 Not sure if you have yet to try it mate but just my experience - The straight pipe is certainly louder but I felt that the quality of the exhaust note declined due to the raspy/tinny sound and couldn't justify it as a trade off for more pops and bangs. I have since returned back to the x-pipe and will keep that until I decide to go for an aftermarket system in the future.
This is definitely the way to go for the budget-conscious. This is much more appealing than the centerline+magnaflow piece IMO but I'm still in love with the TFL x-pipe. But different price points, for sure.
yes i sold the custom steering wheel because i thought i was getting rid of the car at the time so i took everything off and put it back to stock to get all the warranty done.

the OEM center pipes are not that easy to get off so after we loosen the clamps we sprayed lots of PB Blaster penetrating oil which is the cause of the smoke when the pipes heated up after assembly.
one more question for you. if i take this to a competent shop, how many hour(s) of labor am i looking at for install. i showed them this picture and part from your website and explained that they would have to cut the stock resonator and/or attach the pipes/clamps and do some light welding. they quoted me $350 (2 hours labor). does that seem on the high side?
Hi William if they took the center pipe off the car and set it all up and did the cuts 2 hours is very fair. if they tried to do the cuts in the car which they can if they are careful it would be no more than 35-45 minutes but its not always easy cutting pipes in the car as the blade can damage the heat insulation in the tunnel so i still suggest removing the pipes off the car to make a nice clean an safe installation as my video shows. We have a new batch being made now so consider placing an order on the site you will absolutely love this mod.

I have the Centerline X-pipe but now considering doing this mod. Would you recommend removing the resonator on the stock pipes or remove the "X" from the Centerline pipe (since I cannot return the pipe now)?
Sell the X Pipe on Ebay or a forum and buy our kit, we did not design our kit to modify the Centerline X pipe so can not confirm if it will work with the specs we designed into it.
i never tried but i will assure you NO because the 90 degree V6 and the ignition firing order and active OEM rear muffler all has to do with this sound. I hear from many customers the Centerline exhaust on the Giulia 2.0 is the one to get.
if you delete the muffler it would be not much fun to drive daily and Police will ticket you by having the active muffler you still retain normalcy and with Race mode then it gets crazy loud.
couple of questions for you. how much does your exhaust resonator weigh? i know you showed that the stock system is just under 7 lbs. also, did you notice any power gains or losses by going with the resonator delete? thanks
Hi William to be honest the car feels similar and maybe a touch faster at the higher RPM range. i can not give you a 100% answer because it was over 3 months since I drove the 2018 QV so getting it back now its all new for me it seems. In theory the X pipe should help with midrange power but i notice my car still spins the brand new Corsa tires just as easily as it always did in 1-3rd gears full throttle. Overall I Love the resonator delete kit it sounds better than almost every system on the market that costs thousands of dollars.

Ademas que el motor va mas exigido el consumo se dispara. y hablo con conocimiento de causa, ya que tengo el mismo. Lo he tenido manual y ahora lo tengo con la cabja ZF. Pero francamente a este hombre no lo veo muy abil conduciendo, parece como si no sintiera el coche. Mi opinion tal y como lo veo.
Ist it in Dynamic Mode much louder when you drive normally? I would do this, but here in Germany it is illegal and The cops have nothing to do😄 Sounds really great! Better than akrapovic and the others
Hi on the older models 2017-2019 in Dynamic the exhaust only opens at full throttle on the 2021-2022 cars the exhaust is full open in Dynamic and Race mode regardless of throttle
