Couldn’t help myself! When my old friend dropped by with his lovely Alfa Romeo Giulia Super I just wanted to share it with you ! So here it is . A proper film in the future , what do you think, would you like that ?
My 1st Alfa (of 4) was the same colour. A 1969 Giulia super 1750. The reason it was a 1750 was that it was a homologation special to qualify for production racing here in South Africa.
Of course do a film on the Giulia. I have a red 1300 Ti that’s been modified into a Giulia Super (all the external trim and of course a 1600 with twin webers). My brother in law has a Giulia Super and my brother is building one up for track days/classic rallying. Giulia’s are super cool 😎!!
That looks and sounds great! Finally caught up to current day on the videos. All great Mark and an excellent back-catalogue. Well done and keep going 👍🏻
Yes it is an original unrestored car from the south. But it has had some magic! Bigger engine and suspension more to come. I’m thinking about the spring for a film.
I love Giulias and also had one from 2006 until 2010. I'd love to see Giulia content on you channel, but my favourite content will always be about the Fiat Dino Coupes!
A big reason for my friend building the car was just to have that sound ! Actually they are Dellorto carbs . From Monza so sort of close by to Milan and all in the Lombardy region so somehow more befitting Milan’s finest. Actually we don’t know what factory the Giulia was built in could actually be from the south ! Indulge me and let’s say that Dellorto has a slightly different Timbre than the Weber from Bologna.
Nice teaser. Yes, that would be an interesting project. This week I picked up my own project for the next couple of years ... a 1925 Fiat 501C. While stopped for petrol at a remote country service station on the way home, an old girl of 81yo with a walking frame identified it as the car in which her parents drove her to school in Sydney in the 1940s. What are the chances?
