I own a giulietta with the same engine. It’s reliable. The engine is an old fiat engine with a turbo, timing belt and multi point injection. If you change the oil every 10k kms you will have no problem with it. It also has a simple suspension (compared to a 159). So yeah it’s a reliable car and cheap to fix if its brake down.
The DNS switch makes the whole work and brings fun. Protip: if you have a chance make a test drive with Fiat tipo 120hp (not diesel) and Giulietta 120hp.
@@michaelcottbus7782 Interested in this... can you elaborate please? I guess the Alfa is a better car, is that what you wanted to say? Loved the video btw, thanks...
@@pufifa I have driven Bravo, Tipo and Alfa with the same engine, Alfa is better then Tipo - no doubts - Tipo is worse even the Bravo with the same engine, Alfa has better suspension, better inside, good seats, not mention the looks. Bravo, Alfa - very reliable cars, owned them, no problems whatsoever.
@@willknott9245 Hey thank you. So Giulietta is the way to go. I knew it. Funny thing when you mention Bravo... I was thinking about this very car too. Much cheaper than Giulietta, but yeah.... Giulietta just looks phenomenal. 👍
@@pufifa Check Lancia Delta. The same engine, technically it is Bravo but much bigger inside, looks very good, much cheaper than Giulietta, becouse it is much less popular, and in my opinion- bulid much, much better than Giulietta- especially interior. Giulietta technically is very good car, but interior is terrible if we talking about quality. It is not 159 where materials was great and biuld quality was wery good. In giulietta You will have plastic, and more bad quality plastic. It is not class of A3, or BMW 1. It is really worst side Giulietta. Pitty, becouse it is very nice car. It show how accountants are able to spoil good car.
Yes, without any doubts, it is fun to drive, very good suspension, it is not very complicated car - this construction has over 10 years - but it still gives that something which only Alfa can give, I know that sound stupid, but those cars are for people who likes to drive. Drive one, I knew that I want this car after first 1km (maybe 2 😉). This car likes winding roads, real fun to drive. Only 120HP one say - I say it is reasonable, especailly for young driver..
@@willknott9245 so true.. a friend of mine bought a used Alfa Mito, 120 hp, paid it 3000€, had almost 200.000 km, gpl, he made me try it and after a week I bought the Giulietta carbon edition, same engine.
hello i´ve heard that sometimes when you go fast or at some specific gear there is like a sound that can be heard. like some metallic stuff... i have the same issue. do you know what that is? i´ve heard that it is normal but it is kinda strange when you drive fast and hear this metallic sound thats like you have just lose your pipe xD
@@cosminronea4688 1.4 t-jet is noisy engine. Good, but loud, and sound not well. At this moment I have GP with the same engine(120HP)- mechanically is same engine as my old 1.2 16v, but in old Punto I was able to run 80km/h od 6th gear with no engine sound- in the car made from steal thin as beer can. 1.4 t-jet is twice louder, and soun as any other inline 4 is BAD. I like this cars, but engeneers forgot about sound. It may be enough in 1995, but not in XXI century. I would be over this if noise will be at 5000 RPM, but it is annoying at 3500... Bad job Fiat. Good engine, but acoustic engineering is TERRIBLE.
