You recommend diesel or gasoline?

@@mitsos7227 I have a diesel one and my only regret is not going for the gasoline 1.4 turbo. It’s an overall beautiful and comfortable car but gasoline engines are just better imho

@@sobadriving8867 yeah but diesel has better fuel economy right?because my brother had an alfa romeo and he had to sell it cause the fuel economy was so bad

I mean, if you change oil regularly and do the inspections as intended, they can be really reliable cars. I have a 2012 Giulietta in white with the 170HP 1.4TB engine. No problems whatsoever. Except that is consumes a bit of oil (0,3l per 1000 km). I can advise to buy one with low mileage. Fun guaranteed 😉

So if you still thinking about buying one. I'd go for it. The facelift that came in 2016 definitely fixed some "quality issues" it's just a better fit and finish overall. The 1.6 JTDM diesel is pretty good tho like all diesels they can be expensive when they reached their age and didn't get the required service. I've had only one problem that had my heart racing a sec. if the read oil light starts blinking that means the car needs a service(oilchange). Also stick to 15.000km or once a year oil changes not to higher ones (for any car!).

I had 3 Alfa in my life and never a problem. Only yearly maintenance.
